I got these and tried them on yesterday. They fit well. The color looks good (I got the red Crave in 9W). Two things are causing me to question what I've received. For the amount of money I spent, I did not expect to receive the shoes in a plain brown shoe box with no Taos branding anywhere at all. Nowhere except the stamp on the actual shoe. Not on the box. Not inside. Not on the barcode. Nowhere does it say Taos. Were these refurbished or something??? I paid full price. Why the strange unbranded packaging? Also there's a minor scratch across the toe top of one shoe. It's a light scratch. But again, for the money paid and the weird packaging, I am concerned these might have been previously worn and maybe I haven't gotten what I paid for. I am debating sending them back. I will not buy another pair through Amazon. I have been a good customer for many years. But this is just not sitting well with me. ... show more

    • Colors of the pictured boots on Amazon do not match the color name. But keeping Teal!

The photo of the boot I ordered was black. The color name was Teal. It was confusing and I was hoping the name was wrong not the photo. I just received them and they are definitely teal. But, they are nice and not a color I’d normally choose so I am keeping them. I went back to the order page and several of the boot color names are not what the photo shows. Yet so many of these boots are sold in in many sizes and when one is available in my size 6.5, the price jumps up from what I paid $165 to $249, it is strange.
