I’ve owned a lot of boots over the years, but the Bearpaw Women’s Emma 10” boots in black have become my absolute favorite. These boots are so warm and cozy that they feel like a winter essential. The genuine sheepskin lining is incredibly soft, keeping my feet perfectly warm without overheating, even on really cold days. The design is simple and classic, which I love. They’re versatile enough to go with almost any outfit, whether I’m running errands in jeans or dressing up a bit with leggings and a sweater. The sole has just enough grip for icy sidewalks, and I’ve been impressed by how well they hold up against snow and slush (I did spray them with a waterproof protectant for extra durability). What also surprised me was the fit. I was worried they might feel bulky, but they’re actually quite lightweight and comfortable to walk in. I went with my usual size, and they fit perfectly, with enough room for thick socks if I want. I get compliments on them all the time and find myself reaching for them almost daily in the winter. Highly recommend these for anyone who wants both style and warmth!

I usually wear a 7.5 in shoes and an 8 in boots. I ordered an 8 in Mushroom, which is a light dove gray. I tried the boots on without socks and the fit is comfortable. I can imagine wearing socks, but the fluffy shearling inside fills in nicely. It's a very cozy feel, and yet not a sweaty warmth. I am pleasantly surprised. I was willing to give them a try and send them back for the more expensive brand if I didn't like the BearPaw version. I really can't imagine that the other brand has any more value to offer. I love the soft pretty gray color too, neutral enough to wear with almost anything. I also have bought BearPaw hiking boots this Spring and found them to be a superior product (they replaced a nearly non-destructible pair of HiTeks I had used for over a decade.) I will buy BearPaw designs again. Good price and great quality.

These Bear Paw boots are very nice. They are well made and have real Shepa lining like UGGs. As a matter of fact, they are comparable with the pair of short UGGs I have had for many years. I really like the olive color, it is very subtle, an olive drab color, not bright. I have been wearing them for a week or so now and they are comfortable. I tend to have a wider foot and I have plenty of room in these to move my feet around without binding or rubbing anywhere. If you wear heavy boot socks, these may be too snug on a wider foot but who needs heavy boot socks with these toasty lined boots? ;) I find they fit very true to size with no need to size up. I think I will be buying the Bear Paw cleaning and waterproofing kit that is also available here on Amazon so they do not get water stains. I've had a pair of these same boots, in hickory/tan color, for more than a year, and really enjoy them for wearing around the house, or just hanging out at a friend's place, etc. They'd held up well overall - just some wearing of the fleece on the inside sole; but then, I don't really ever wear them outside, or do a lot of walking in them. They are the closest look to the big expensive "U" brand I've found, at a much better price, and so very comfy and soothing. So I decided to get another pair in gray to alternate with the tan ones. The quality appears equally good, and actually the fleece is already holding up better than my first did. However, while I ordered the same size (9 - I'm usually 9/9.5), these fit noticeably smaller all around, including length, but especially the circumference at the ankle, which makes tucking pants in more effort. To some extent this will probably improve as the fleece gets worn/compressed. I would also say that I'm less enthused about the gray color than I'd hoped. It's a little more bluish than charcoal, and so matte and fine it looks almost more like ultrasuede than the real thing. If I had intended to wear them more publicly, I might have returned these for another color, or tried a few different pairs of the same size, to see how they vary in fit and appearance. But for my purposes, at this price, it wasn't worth the trouble -- I'll just keep these and enjoy them.

I am always looking for nice, leather or suede boots that are comfortable and fit well. It has been hard to find women's styles that don't have embellishments, such as a straps, buckles and other useless decorative features. I was looking for a good UGG type boot that fit not too tightly, and these were just right, not too snug so I can't wear thicker socks, but not so loose that I have to. I usually put insoles in my boots but didn't with these because the lining is so nice and soft. I am usually unable to tolerate wool or wool blends, but so far have had no trouble with these. They are super warm and comfortable and feel like you're wearing slippers, while still looking nice enough to get away with wearing to casual outings. I tried a pair of the Lamo boots, and they were really beautiful, but the sizes just didn't work for me. I usually wear an 8.5 or 9, depending on the style of shoe and the 9 fit me perfectly, with just enough wiggle room for thick socks. Overall, I'm happy with the style, sizing, look, and value of this boot.
