I wanted a sturdy basic wallet that would be durable. This meets those requirements and is made here in the USA - a big plus.. But beware - it is slightly small and very stiff when new which can make it awkward to remove cards but I would expect to "break in". If it were a tiny bit larger it might avoid this and would have received five stars from me. After a month's use it is beginning to soften and stretch but just aa little. It should have been designed just a tiny bit larger. Given the quality of the leather and workmanship I would expect a long service life. But if you have a lot of cards and other "stuff" look elsewhere. It is just too small and will only stretch and break-in so much.

I like that this wallet is simple, sturdy, and well-made. I hope it softens up over time so I can easily take my cards in and out of the pockets. What I didn't understand when buying it is that this wallet is THICK. As a guy who keeps his wallet in his back pocket, I'm constantly adjusting it when I sit down. Otherwise, it cocks my hips to one side.

I've been using bifold and trifold wallets for years now and I finally decided to spend a few extra dollars and get the Tanner Goods. People have mentioned the tight fit but with other wallets I've had, they to loosen up and the cards fall out after a few months so I can live with it for now in the hope it will be perfect when it’s softened up a bit. The quality is excellent and I’m expecting it to last for years. Very happy indeed so far.

It is difficult to pull out this wallet without the person in front of you getting a good view of how many bills are in it. While the dimensions sounded ok, the stitching takes away a fair amount of space and the bills show out the top especially if there are a lot. And be warned foreign currency may not fit at all. If it was just slightly wider like other wallets it would have made a world of difference in being able to conceal the money inside. Shame such an expensive product seemed to cut corners, trimming away such a small, but crucial bit of the leather.

Bought this to replace an old nasty wallet that I had owned for what seems like a decade. This is a nice wallet. Seemed pricey at first, but you get what you pay for. You can see and feel the quality. It was stiff and tight at first but has since broken in. It is starting to develop a nice patina too. I am glad I bought it.

Holds a bit more than the essentials... Good news is that it forced me to reduce the number of unnecessary cards I was carrying in my old wallet. Looks even better with a little wear on it from a few weeks in my back pocket. Gold star.

Really impressed with the quality and craftsmanship of the Tanner Goods wallet. I’ve been looking for a simple yet premium wallet that I can use everyday. For $100, it feels better than my LV wallets are 4x the price. Great pickup...prob gift this as well. I also love the fact that it’s made in the USA. I’ve bought a number of items...that breaks in well, last a lifetime and prob can pass down to the kids.
