I originally bought this shirt in a small. For reference my bust is a D and I don't generally wear button up shirts as it's always a struggle with the buttons at the bust. This was too cute to not try. I bought the small, it was a bit too roomy in the bodice so I ordered an extra small to compare the two. Definitely keeping the extra small. I ordered a Large. For reference, I’m 5'11", around 195 lbs, and wear a 36DDD. The Large fit comfortably and looked flattering. Because I’m fuller in the bust, I appreciated the extra room. If I had a smaller chest, I probably could have sized down. One thing I especially liked was that the buttons didn’t pull or gap across the chest, which can be hard to find with button-down shirts when you’re fuller-busted. That made a big difference in both comfort and how polished it looked. I purchased it to wear with a vest and tie, and it looked really cute styled that way. I wanted to love this crisp summery top. The fabric, buttons, and sleeves are nice; but the bottom is way too long and boxy for the type of fabric this is made of. It’s a thick woven cotton mix, almost twill. It cannot really be worn untucked at all, but is also too stiff to tuck in because it does not blouse correctly. I wear an average to large in the bust, so the blouse just looks a bit matronly. Maybe it would be cuter in a smaller extra petit size, and cropped with rounded edges.
