I am only half way done, due to human error, but it looks great so far. The body is done and I went with a pearl blue that glows. I sealed it with a gloss finish and rubbed it with some compound and it has the finish like that of an actual car. Nice model, but a pain and fragile to put together. most models use the peg in hole concept, strong. They use the slide as well as the position markers, which are not very strong and hard sometimes to get correctly. I bought an extra box to and end up using half, when almost finishing, I started merging the top to the bottom, it wasn't working out very well. I had to take it apart and fix the inside to fit correctly, the position of the interior, because as I mentioned, the guides were hard to use. I also broke the mirrors many times over so I finally decided to make new ones of my 3-D printer, match as best I can. ... show more

Beautifully molded with minimal flash. Parts fit together well right out of the box, and instructions are thorough and clear. Best painted using Tamiya paints.

Tamiya is the best. My only complaint is that a lot of their kits don’t include engines but that doesn’t take away from how beautiful the kits are. I’m hooked on Tamiya. I highly recommend this kit and will build another one.
