Great product. I have several from a bank, a seminar, an office store, etc. But none work as well as these. The main great point is the tip going into an envelope, is small & round & tilts downward a little, all of which make using it so simple & the knife edge is sharp. They just work great.

These letter openers are put thru the mill here as I get a ton of mail. I love the bigger size of them compared to others as I’m starting to get arthritis. They are sturdy and performance is perfect with their sharp blades. While it is a super value for the money I hate to be one of waste, so I wish they would offer a package with fewer openers.

These letter openers do the job. They are certainly inexpensive. You stick the pointy end into one side of the envelope and slide it across to the other side, slicing open the top. I have noticed that once you get to the end of the envelope open, the point is not sharp enough to slice through the paper, so the opener gets stuck on the inside of the envelope, and you have to jiggle it a bit to finish the job. No big deal, unless you want an absolutely perfect open envelope. Since I throw the envelopes away, I don't care. The point would have to be very sharp to puncture paper, which would not be safe for children, or some of us adults!

How did I live without these? Do the job with ease. Perfect envelope opening and keep every paper bill, letter, card, etc, nice straight open nd clean. Easy to use, one shot cross and it’s done. I was also impressed and delighted with how many come in one order for such a reasonable price. I keep one in my car, home studio, upstairs too! Gave a couple to friends who are loving such a simple old school item making opening the mail so much easier!

I had a sword-shaped letter opener that wandered off one day..., somewhere. Using my index finger was my fallback for a while but after shredding nearly every envelope I tried to open, I needed a better way. Enter the Tamaki Letter Opener. These letter openers are small, light, and fits neatly in almost any drawer, nook, or cranny on my desk. I like the variety of colors as I use the bright yellow one so I can easily spot it on the desk or whatever clever hidey-hole I forgot I had last stored it away in. The blades on these guys are sharp and all business when it comes to opening any envelope we receive here at our house. The fact there are six openers in my order gives me enough redundancy that I have spread a few out over the house to include the kitchen (junk drawer) and another by my recliner and still have three in reserve should I misplace another. Though I miss my old rusty-trusty sword letter opener that stood proudly in my pencil caddy for all those years, I am happy I found these Tamaki letter openers as it does a far superior job of opening our envelopes. I would definitely order these letter openers again as I'm totally satisfied with this set.
