I honestly cannot think of anything negative to say about this company or thermos. I use it every day at home. My ice water stays cold for 14 hours and even the ice doesn't melt up until like the 10 hour mark. I have not tried using it for hot liquids yet on this particular 64oz model, but my 48oz model held hot liquids for around 8-10 hours (give or take an hour). I really enjoy the sturdy design with the dual cap twist locking method. The rubber button is great especially if you drop or accidentally bump it into something. Without the rubber bottom, it would damage easily (at least my old one did). This 64 oz makes for a good stationary water bottle, but I wouldn't recommended using it on walks. I would probably recommended their 32 oz bottle if you are active.

Takeya has made some pretty good water bottles for awhile now, but their actives line is by far the best! This 64 ounce bottle is about as big as you need for all occasions, and it even comes with a silicone/rubber bottom bumper/cover which is removable (most bottles you will want to buy one for anyways, so that is a plus that it is included). One thing I like about this brand is their patented wide mouth to small mouth lid; which has a nice handle (do not twist the cap off using the handle, or it will likely break). Something that I think is great on these newer models is the upgrades made to the lids. The silicone seals on the lids now have easy tabs to assist in removing for cleaning. In addition, the lid itself in now insulated too; where before it was just a plastic lid. I have used two 40 oz bottles (same brand, but older) for years, but I find that this one is the only one I use now/has replaced all my other water bottles. This brand works just as good, if not better than, the more popular Hydroflask brand. Just make sure to buy a bottle brush, and do not put other liquids in your water bottles; you can, but I find that this leaves a bit of an aftertaste in the bottle no matter how many times you clean it. I suggest rinsing all your water bottles with distilled white vinegar then hot water after cleaning with soap for an extra clean feel.

Everyday for 21 months so far! I have a kidney disorder and it requires me to drink a lot of water. This bottle is great. This bottle is metal, but it’s not insulated on the sides. It doesn’t keep cool as long as an insulated bottle would. Not a bad thing though it’s just something I noticed. The rubberized bottom does slip off at times. I would recommend carrying this bottle in a backpack of some sort because when full it is fairly cumbersome to carry. The carrying ring on the lid doesn’t look strong enough to endure hard everyday use.

It gets very hot where I work, and I was having problems staying hydrated. I bought the 64oz bottle and drink two bottles during a shift. It helps me monitor how much I drink so I’m drinking more than I’m sweating out.

I like to monitor how much water I drink in a given day, I used to have a 32 oz one. I try and drink 128 oz a day. So for me filling this twice is a lot easier that a smaller bottle. When I fill it with cold water, and 6 ice cubes it will stay cold for around 5hrs. I haven't tested it to set how long it will stay cold. I drink it too fast lol. I'm still very happy with my purchase and if this one crapped out on be I would buy another in a heart beat.

This lasts an entire day at my job in the outdoor heat while keepimg the water crisp and cool. Yes, it is cumbersome to carry/transport but there isn't much you can do about that. I will say I usually use the handle to hang it on a hook and so far I'm impressed - it hasn't given me any issues. Just make sure you wash it well first so it doesn't taste like metal. I have also banged it around a bit (just the nature of work) and haven't had dents or scuffs.

2nd one I’m buying only because my husband rolled over the 1st one with his raised F250 truck! It still didn’t leak! It just looked bad. He says this is one of his favorite gifts I gave him in 17 years. Lol. Would recommend!
