    • Like the strawless twist open pour/drinking spout.
Not easy to clean sealing gasket material. The gaskets stain easily. I have the white. I've not had it during extremely hot days so, I can't attest to it's Insulating efficiency on a 100°F day while left in a vehicle for several hours. But, it keeps lightly iced drinks fifteen plus hours while stored at room temperature or, for six plus hours in a vehicle all afternoon in mid 80°F weather. It's nice that I can order, "light ice," in a large Diet Mountain Dew at a drive-thru at lunch and, still have ice and fizz six or seven hours later. At home, I'll pour some refrigerator cold Crystal Light with no ice in it for dinner and it will be fairly cold the next morning while stored at room temperature. I like that it’s a one-hand open/close attached, hinged drinking/pouring spout. I also like the strawless twist open pour/drinking spout. No, sharp edges. The attached, hinged top handle is comfortable to carry the unit vertically. The soft "rubbery" base cap comes off occasionally but mostly stays on. It just fits in the very top of a Toyota Sienna LE AWD console cup holder. Not very deep into it but, rides stable and is easy to insert and remove with one hand. The base cap does protect other surfaces if accidentally bumped against something. Also, I did drop it in a parking lot once, with no denting or scratches to the unit. I had been hoping to have it's use during 100°F plus weather prior to writing a review but, fortunately we didn't have any such days since I received it. ... show more

Obsessed! This bottle is awesome! Replaced my other one I got from my supplement store because it was plastic and didn't stay cold but holded 40oz. Got this one in arctic white and I love! My boyfriend has been jocking it so hard since I got it he asked me to get him the black! Ha! The arctic white gets a little dirty sure but so far has wiped clean fine. My Bca's I put in it (which is watermelon so its pink) does stain the lid/mouthpiece a little. But that luckily has wiped clean easy too. Definitely glad I went with this bottle, wish I could get all colors! ***Update*** So unfortunately I am not victim of what others, A LOT of others, are experiencing. The center peice of the lid, that twists into the mouth apout so when the bottle is closed it doesn’t spill out of thw spout, well yea it beoke off. And its seriously SUCKS. The bottle spills everywhere now, since that crucial piece broke off. And even more of a bummer, there’s NO MATCHING replacement lid. The only one they sell is the black lid with the white rubber band. Well I got it so I don’t have to worry about this thing spilling everywhere. And honestly, its not cute.😑Its looks lame. Totally not the same effect as the all white. Which I bought and paid a heafty penny for specifically ALL WHITE. I drink a lot of water and found that my 24oz bottle I use most days wasn't cutting it. I saw one of these in Target and loved the lid design, so I did some research of my own and saw that there was a 40oz version on Amazon. I purchased the white 40oz bottle and am loving it. The wide mouth makes it easy to clean and add ice, although the height of the bottle makes it difficult to reach to the bottom with my scrub brush. I will have to purchase a longer one. Love the small screw on top because it allows you to drink ice water without pieces of ice trying to escape. I have seen some reviews say that the bottle sweats, or that the cap sweats when it has ice in it, but that hasn't been the case for me. The bottle stays dry. It also has a little removable rubber bumper on the bottom that helps keep my desk at work from getting scratched, kinda like a built-in coaster. The bottle is pretty large and not super light, so it may not be ideal for people who travel a lot and like to keep things light. But it seems to be sturdy and holds plenty of H20 goodness. Best water bottle on the market for white water rafting. Reasons: - made of metal not glass to avoid breakage. - Accommodates a locking carabiner to securely clip it onto raft rope. - Cap stays attached when taking a drink, avoiding loss of cap. - Does not leak when upside down. - Comes in a white or off-white color to reflect sun / heat. - Well insulated to keep drink cool for a longer time. - Very well-designed by a Japanese company. Not the usual suspect cheap toxic crap designed in China. - I read some complaints of mold, but if you wash them in the dishwasher after each use or trip, mold is a non-issue. Potential downside for an everyday use case: - The 40 oz (and I think the 32 oz) are too wide to fit into a vehicle's cup holder. The 24 oz fits fine. ... show more

    • Doesn't retain temp for more than a few hours unless iced
Does not retain the internal temperature very well. Not great if you want to put water in it and expect cold water several hours later. However, in my case I find it very useful as a refill water bottle for my smaller one. I recommend putting it in a bag instead of carrying it as the "handle" is made of thin cheap plastic, so I tend to not carry it by the handle. The water bottle is quite wide so it's difficult to hold a grip after 30 minutes. I do not reccomend bringing this on a run, please just don't try that, it's too much. I would reccomend buying this product if you need a very large water bottle and you'll drink it all with in a couple hours. And yes, it really does hold 40 oz, but all the way to the lip of the bottle. ... show more
