I was unable to figure out the instructions. Decided to have it professional installed. The 4 wheel drive garage called and told me the instructions were for a complete other brand. After they were unable to find where all the bolts go, they refused to install it.

The directions were hard to read and there is no youtube videos. So after a lot of guessing and watching similar install videos. I was able to get it back together. Make sure you have an extra set of hands.

I was an avid off road guy for many, many years in my late teens and thru my 20's. I have worked on everything from Jeeps to one ton fords and chevys. Have put in numerous lift kits. This one, alto the quality appears to be OK...... The instructions SUCK-ASS and two of the shock mounts didn't fit. Had to design and build my own shock mount extensions cuz 2 of the 4 in the kit weren't even close to being correct!!! To return this item would be more of a pain in the ass than to just make my own shock extensions. However, that being said I would STRONGLY suggest you guys hire someone who knows what the hell they are doing so less mechanical people can figure out how to install this nightmare of a lift kit!!! ... show more

This kit is for a JK!!!! I’ve done jk’s and the parts are exactly the same!! Rear shock extensions are for jk. Had a kit for a jk sitting here and all parts were the same but from a diff manufacturer. Jl owners do not buy this kit. Hope this helps someone so they aren’t disappointed when they’ve spent 4 hours lifting their Jeep only to get to the end(rear) and be fuming mad when it doesn’t work. ... show more

    • Wrong hardware instructions terrible!!!

There a guy saying shock extension where incorrect and that the instructions where horrible!!!! I’m here to tell you HE IS 100% CORRECT!!!!! I had the same issue very frustrated at the back ones were incorrect!!! Also the sway bar links don’t fit in the space had to use original once I’m sure that not good now that is lifted!! I suggest you don’t buy it just for the main reason that the instructions are 1890 quality and pictures look like they where taken in a basement with the lights off!! ... show more

This lift was not worth the money. I installed it head on for about three before the swaybar and links broke at the weld. Happened to me on the freeway created a death wobble almost got into an accident.

It took about 5 hours to install the front and 30 minutes to do the back buy the instructions are in black and white need clear pictures and better instructions all together it looks great and I would recommend to others
