I’m in my 60s and recently started dating again, which means two things: I suddenly care a little more about how I look That little jelly roll around the belly has officially become my enemy That’s what led me to the TAILONG Men’s Compression Shirt. First: What This Is (Technical Side) This is a high-compression body shaper, not a casual undershirt. The fabric is very elastic, very tight, and designed to apply uniform compression across the torso to: flatten the midsection improve posture smooth out love handles create a slimmer silhouette under clothes And yes—it absolutely does that. Putting It On (Where Things Get Interesting) Let me offer some hard-earned advice: DO NOT try to put this on after a shower. If your skin is even slightly damp, this thing will grab under your armpits and refuse to move. At that point, pulling it down becomes a two-person job. If no one is around, you are officially stuck. The first time I put it on, I got tangled up so badly it took me five full minutes to get out of it. I was laughing so hard I could barely breathe—which is ironic, because once it’s on, breathing is actually fine. Once It’s On Once you get past the wrestling match, the results are impressive. It slims everything down, holds you in nicely, and doesn’t feel restrictive once it’s properly positioned. I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable it is to wear, even for extended periods. One important technical note: If your underwear is made from a similar slippery compression material, things will slide around more than you’d like. I recommend regular underwear underneath—learned that one the hard way. Taking It Off Putting it on is the first hardest part. Taking it off is the second hardest part. Go slow. Don’t force it. This fabric is strong, but if you yank on it like you’re trying to escape a straightjacket, it will rip. Treat it with respect and it’ll last. Build Quality The material feels very well made, thick, durable, and designed to handle serious compression. As long as you don’t rage-rip it off your body, it should hold up well. Final Verdict Does it work? Absolutely. Is it hilarious the first time you use it? Yes. Will it make you look better in clothes? Without question. I would buy it again if I needed to—hopefully I won’t, because I plan on keeping this one intact. If you’re an older guy trying to look your best and don’t mind a brief wrestling match with modern fabric technology, this does the job. Watch out, ladies—here I come. ... show more

This compression shirt works as described and definitely provides a very tight fit. It wasn’t too bad for shorter periods of time, but after wearing it longer it became uncomfortable. I’d probably recommend sizing up for better comfort, but overall it does what it says it will do.

Bought this for hubby who has degenerative discs in lower back. The compression helps him throughout the day when he sits for long periods or even when he walks more than he wants. He is 5.8 around 250 lbs. I purchased XXL. The tank is long enough to cover the lower back and still be tucked into pants without the worry of rolling up and out. He likes it and wears it 3 times a week. I prefer to wash by hand and hang it to dry hoping to maintain it’s elasticity and textile stability. I believe it will last . I bought the shirt after reading a lot of positive reviews, most of them. And based on that, I decided to go for it. Some people said it was super hard to put it on, but for me it was super easy, not hard at all. As soon as I received the shirt and saw it, I knew it was going to be kind of loose, not exactly, but I was expecting much more compression. I'm 6'1" and 215, usually wear XL on my shirts, so decided to order the L, but is not enough. I'm going to have to send this one back and order a size M. Another thing, it is loose on the bottom edge and it doesn't stay around your hips, after a while it was rolled around my waist. On the positive side, it is comfortable although you can start feeling kind of hot after a couple of hours, because it doesn't breath that much, but is not something that's going to make you stand in front of the air conditioned. Every person is different, but if you want my advice and if you really want to feel the compression for real, as it is supposed to be, I would tell you to go 2 sizes down of your regular one, that's what I'm going to do. It has been probably over 2 years since I bought this product. I am finally retiring it! This compression shirt was worn a LOT. Perfect for gym sessions and also for when you want to look a bit slimmer! It now has many rips and loose threads on it after overusing it for so long. I could keep using it if I wanted to but I'll buy a new one soon, just because of its aesthetics. If I were only wearing it under other shirts though I feel like it could last a super long time. I'm going to shop around for compression shirts sometime soon I guess, but I have a feeling I'll come back to this one if the price is right (I don't remember how much it cost me back then, but it was worth it whatever it was). ... show more

Tried a lot of different shirts and this by far is the closest to a second skin, comfortable while tucking just the right places. I've always had a bigger chest, seems to be where I carry my weight as well as love handles. I got an XL, I'm 235Lb and 6'2"j and it works perfect. I have a longer torso and it' still long enough. Not the easiest thing to get on, I'm sure there is likely some secret way I haven't figured out, but even still, it doesn't take long and allows confidence with any fabric type, even the most revealing.
