HOURS and WEEKS it took for me to pick a bed. After all those hours, I rolled the dice on this one when it only had 4 reviews, and I was nervous about that. I kept coming back to it after putting dozens of others in my cart. I felt it was risky. Luckily my gamble paid off. This isn’t some cheap piece of furniture that will fall apart. Nice quality. Decent price. The ONLY info missing from the listing was the height under the bed for storage, so I’m going to start with that in case no one else has posted it. There is over 8” of clearance, much more than most I looked at, I could only guess based on measurements in the listing and I was pretty close, so my rolling under bed storage wooden bins are working great, I bought 4 four our king sized bed. Next. It showed up faster than I’d have expected. I couldn’t have carried the two boxes in by myself but luckily my son in law was here so he and my husband brought them in. Solid stuff, real wood, heavy, nice. I needed something to match my mid century blonde bedroom furniture so I ordered the natural. Excellent match. I bought some natural stain and polyurethane to give it a bit of a finish, but I am on the fence about doing it. Honestly it looks great the way it is. Assembly. A lot of work. Great directions. My husband said the most clear directions he’s ever worked with for something this big. No mistakes, the process went smoothly, but slow. I knew it would since I picked a unit with a bench and drawers etc. not surprised. My husband on the other hand, was surprised. He didn’t start until 4pm, even though I cautioned him it would take 6+ hours. Well by 10:30 pm, I was tired, we were not done (I say we but honestly he did 95% without me) we put our mattress on the floor and called it a day. Started again the next day and got it done. I came in as support when it was time to put the slats on the bed. WARNING: There are only 2 extra plastic pieces and if you mess one up and have to take it out, you’ll ruin the piece. Luckily there were the 2 backup pieces, we used them both. So be careful at this stage. We liked the design of the support, more than flat wooden slats. We finished and put the mattress on, tested it out and we were beyond happy with the solid structure, the non movement of the bed, the silence when moving around. Really shocked how bad our old one was after enjoying this one. I no longer wake my husband up from simply turning over in bed. Every night since we got it, my husband says “I love this bed” lol. He swears his back is in better condition. He loves that it’s doesn’t move when I do. We have an air number mattress and it works perfectly on it. The style of the bed keeps the mattress from shifting at all even though the mattress is light weight. The storage in the bench is fantastic. I was able to get rid of my bin of supplements and hide it all in the bench. Nice for a cleaner look. I have tons of under bed storage too. Overall, this is one of our favorite purchases in a long time. I just don’t know why I put up with our old one so long (still had box springs), when this kind of quality cost us only 1 weekend. It’s heavy, so you don’t just move it around, but I don’t need to other than opening the curtains once winter is over (drafty windows) or if I get a new rug (likely soon). Pros: SOLID. Silent. Motionless. Under bed clearance. Precise directions. No missing parts. Pretty. Drawers close nicely, bench top opens solidly, stays open without holding. Sturdy enough to sit on or even stand on to change the ceiling light bulbs. Con: Takes some effort to build. Worth it. I don’t intend to replace it for a very long time. All pieces easily identified and constructed though so no complaints. Extra bonus: if I get new bedroom dressers, this bed is real wood so I can stain it or paint it another color for a whole new look. Honestly I’m surprised something this solid shipped so efficiently. Came earlier than expected and in time for us to build it over the weekend. Although that’s about all we did that weekend lol. 5 stars, can’t find a single drawback. Just buy it.

good quality, solid frame. the king size frame came in 3 boxes and 2 of them were too heavy to carry up stairs, so i ended up opening them to carry parts of them up. assembling the frame was fun as someone who likes a challenge, but there are a lot of steps and it took a full day to put together. there were some minor scratches on a few of the wood pieces, but nothing that is super visible. you will need a phillips head screwdriver to assemble some parts of the frame, but a hex key was included for the hex screws.

In terms of ease of assembly, durability, visually pleasing, practicality, and company communication we’ve been very impressed. Here is why we are giving the bed frame a 5 star review. 1. In terms of assembly it was not bad at all. The instructions were thorough and the materials were well organized which made putting it together fairly easy with 2 people. 2. The reason I say 2 people is because it’s real wood (the quality is great!) and some parts were pretty heavy. 3. We love the storage aspect of the bed frame. It was way more spacious than I anticipated which was a bonus! 4. We love the modern style as it compliments our aesthetic well! 5. We were also impressed with how well the company communicated with us. One of the parts came in damaged and they quickly resolved our issue plus gave us an Amazon credit for the inconvenience.

Took two days for me to get together and was pretty easy, basic construction but solid so far after a couple weeks. Doesn’t creek at all and looks great! It also comes in three different boxes at separate times so don’t worry if it’s not all there at once.

This bed was a nightmare to put together. I feel like it should be cheaper just because you need to be put on your Bob Villa hat just to assemble it! There’s a thousand pieces; I just didn’t have the patience and my back was killing me. So after me and my mom tried to put it together, I ended up just hiring a professional. 5 hours later it was put together. It is good quality, and looks nice but there are more pieces than needed which is confusing and there are these holes in the headboard for no apparent reason. I saw the reviews of people saying it was a lot but I didn’t think it would be as bad. If you’re going to buy it and you don’t have the patience or skill for carpentry lol just hire some one and save yourself the hassle

I saw the reviews talking about how difficult it was to put together and ignored them because I’m a smart guy and how hard could it be to put a bed frame together?? DO NOT MAKE MY SAME MISTAKE! I need to know what ABSOLUTE MONSTER PSYCHOPATH DESIGNED THIS &@$;’ing frame. While building this monstrosity, I was SURE that at ANY MOMENT a little clown was going to roll in on a tricycle and ask if I wanted to play a game. You absolutely CAN NOT do this by yourself. It takes multiple people at multiple steps throughout the god forsaken journey. In addition, you also need your own screw driver and pliers *which do not come with btw*. It took a total of 9 HOURS to finally put it all together for it to have gaps where the pieces meet and not be the color as advertised. Will I take it apart and get something else?? Absolutely not. This is now my death bed unless I move and if I move my poor landlord is going to have to figure out what the hell to do with it after I leave. DO NOT BUY!!

5/5 Stars! I read the reviews before purchasing and was a little nervous because many people mentioned that assembly was time consuming. It took my husband and his friend about four hours from start to finish. He said the instructions were clear, the labeling was helpful, and overall the process was straightforward. He mentioned he could have done it by himself but there were times it was helpful to have a second set of hands. The only tricky part was the drawers at the end of the bed - they required a bit of force to get into place (as other reviewers mentioned), but once installed they glide smoothly and work perfectly. We are extremely impressed with the quality and structure of this bed frame. It's sturdy, heavy, and feels very well-built. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone who moves frequently because it's definitely a substantial piece of furniture. There is storage space underneath, and my Roomba fits and cleans under the bed with no issues. We purchased the entire bedroom set and very happy with it. After sleeping on it for the first night,I didn't wake up once from my husband moving or getting out of bed which is something that happened constantly with our old frame, which cost three times as much from a well-known furniture store. Overall, we're extremely pleased with this purchase.

Visually, looks great - can’t deny that. Structurally, tbd because I just got it. However, I cannot in good conscience recommend this king bed frame. Putting it together was SO challenging. Two people who have built furniture before, and it took us 4+ hours. Frankly, I’m concerned we did some stuff wrong out of frustration so…we’ll see. I would only wish this task on my worst enemy. Don’t believe me? 3 boxes, 47 steps, 5 million screws and parts (jk about the parts but you get my point, and there are indeed 47 steps).
