okay, so we just had a baby, which means i am just starting this adventure and i am sure there are plenty of things i have not yet fully taken into consideration, including the essential carry items, how much to bring for a day out and about, the other intangibles that could make or break a smooth outing, and other preparedness for the unknown that inevitably lies ahead. with that in mind, i am a sling bag kind of guy here. i have a current rotation of 3 that i use daily. depending on what the objectives look like as i venture out i always take at least one, occasionally 2 of them. from just a quick look over to check what pockets, pouches and flaps are there, and evaluate the potential uses and usefulness of them, i feel like this bag could have included a few more versatilities, and a little better thought-out design. the shoulder strap could use some thicker padding, and i would prefer a little bit of contour to help it fit a little better and keep off the neck. i know the design is suited to be able to fit either shoulder the way it is, and maybe that is more important to other people than it is to me. a right, or left shoulder mount choice would be a way to give people a choice in how they are comfortable. that would also allow for the lower strap used for adjustments to be affixed to the body of the bag which would offer more stability, and greater durability than the thin plastic clip that holds to the d-ring. a short zipper across the top to flip the stroller straps into when not in use, or a vertical zipper along where your body makes contact with the bag would add some convenience and increase storage options. the inside of the bag is pretty spacious. some additional loop field material could allow for more personalization, or even placement of dividers. with as large as the interior of this bag is, i would think there would be a greater array of pocketry. I am sure this bag will suit its purpose absolutely fine, and i will find ways to add the personal touches i find necessary. and for the price of this one compared to other well established "tactical" bag/gear makers you can't beat it. i hope it didn't come off as a lot of complaints. just some ideas to run with for the updated version. ... show more

    • Carefully Consider, It Could Still Be For You

Overall, I was pretty excited to received this product. I have found that other items previously used, were really not able to fit everything I needed for a day out. This is where this product really excels! After receiving the product, I gave it a test yes, just to get into the groove of what it may I feel like, win out and about. At that time, it seem like everything was “ago“. However, when recently traveling over the Thanksgiving holiday, I just discovered just how difficult it was to actually use this product when push came to shove. Navigating my way to the airport, trying to keep track of all of the other “stuff“ that I needed to be mindful of during this COVID-19 era, and get to where I was going ended up being extremely cumbersome. I found that the cross strap is just poor product design. In fact, I ended up just carrying the bag instead of wearing it because it was cutting off circulation and limiting my range of motion while I was trying to get from point A to point B. If you’re looking for a bag for storage, then this is the item for you. If you’re looking for a bag for utility and purpose for any activities that requires you to be on the go, then you might want to consider another alternative. I think the bag itself, would be great if it had two straps instead of one strap that went across the chest. While initially that was the selling point, it ultimately became the downfall that caused me to return the product. I hope this helps someone make an informed purchase. ... show more

I chose this diaper bag so that my husband would help with carrying it (he doesn’t want to tote around a girly bag), but I’m so glad I did because of the extremely functional design. I LOVE that everything needed for diaper changes is quickly accessible on the front of the bag and I don’t have to open the main compartment and dig around for the things I need. I also appreciate how spacious the main pocket of the bag is, so I have room to put all the extras that I don’t need to access as constantly (back up diapers/wipes, change of clothes, extra burp cloths, etc.) The only thing I can see as a potential downside is if you want a bag that has an insulated area for bottles. The two bottle pouches on either side are insulated but not very big and would hold one bottle each, and nowhere to put an ice pack if you needed it. I personally just use these pockets for burp cloths and a nasal aspirator bulb because I’m exclusively breastfeeding and don’t use bottles, so it works fine for me, but I imagine this is something that could be an issue for other moms (especially if you’re pumping breast milk, since formula could be stored dry in the larger main compartment while an insulated space would be needed for pumped milk). ... show more

It’s official, I am the coolest dad I’ve ever seen now that I have this bag. It’s sturdy as all heck, EXTREMELY well made, and hot dang does it look good! It holds everything you could possibly need and more for your baby, it doesn’t rub or cause a issue from the strap. It has plenty of pockets for everything you could possibly need. It has spots for more attachments on the sides and it has a changing mat that comes with it. The wipe pocket though could use a little work. The wipe pocket is only compatible with the smaller pack of wipes but the slit makes it hard for you to open the pack without opening the pocket. ... show more
