I really enjoyed sitting and playing with this in my downtime. I wasnt so much into 2 player games, but it was great to have 2 of these so more than one of us can play. I expected a game like Simon, and its close but not quite. Simon would build off the previous pattern, this starts a new more complex pattern as you move forward. This was not bad, just not what I expected. Once I got that out of my mind I got the better hang of it and had more fun.

These are a good solid plastic and feel good in your hand, and I appreciate not needing batteries. You get a 2 pack which makes it a better deal, it comes with a leaflet for directions but it doesn't really tell you much, even though it seems long. It's supposed to be similar to the old school Simon on one game and a sort of wack a mole on another. There's 2 more games that don't make much sense to me. And, there's 2 buttons on the side that don't have any explanation. The lights all flash and it says an occasional phrase like "ready" but this is not really entertaining for me as an adult, or my 8 or 5 yr old after about 5 minutes of just trying to make sense of it. My 1 yr Olds are liking it better just because it lights up and they can hold it easy. Maybe this just isn't for us because other reviews make it seem like its alot of fun, but, not for us, and its not really anything the kids even want to keep playing with. Maybe if it were set up a little different, but for example, playing the Simon mode, if you push the button but not exactly right or fast enough it will just stop the game and you have to restart it every time. It gets pretty boring when you know you push the right buttons and 15 seconds later your game just stops because it decides you didn't do it right, repeat, repeat. This might be good for others and it seems very well built at a fair price for the pair, but honestly, it's not something I think any kids would enjoy for very long and I doubt I would order it again, especially to gift. This is just my opinion and you can use it along with the other reviews to make your own choice. I hope this info has been helpful.

Makes noises, is a challenge and fun to do.. Reminds me of those Simon Puzzles we had as kids.. The kiddos will love this thing

These are good for multiple wages and a I’ll keep the ADHD brain engaged. I will be using as stocking stuffers for my 8 yo and 18 yo.

My kids love this game. It has been great for long car rides as a screen-free activity. I like that they come in a two-pack (great value!) and are small and easy to pack with us on the go!

I like that these are "palm sized" and have volume control; this makes them travel friendly to take along to public places to keep kids busy without bothering everyone around them. They have 4 different games that are fast and fun; 3 games can be played alone and the fourth game connects with both for 2 player fun. Great stocking stuffers, and family fun. I gave these 4 stars because they require (6) AAA batteries.

For those of us of a certain age, This is very reminiscent of the old "Simon" handheld game. One of the modes is exactly like Simon in that you have to memorize the pattern of flashing lights in order to repeat it back. This game does include a couple other game modes and adds a completive mode so 2 people can compete for who can repeat the longest pattern.
