Great for sitting on the tanning ledge once you get on it as it floats so you have to hang on to it while sitting down. I will drill some holes in it so doesn’t float anymore. As a float it is very unstable and easy to tip over. Good value for the money.

    • Looks great by the pool but a challenge to use
This is a nice looking chair honestly and half the price of other chairs like this. The husband is tall enough and heavy enough to sit on this chair on our beach entrance to the pool without having to fill it with water. I am 5' tall and the curvature of this chair with my height does not work at all. It's super uncomfortable and does not lay as flat as similar lounge chairs. We did not drill holes in it but it appeared there were some type of plugs it said you could remove but we didn't see how without damaging the chair. While they really look great and fancy'ish sitting by the pool it was not worth it to me to keep them for pool decor because I would not be using them. ... show more

    • Don't waste your money.

I am updating my review after the company contacted me with an issue I had. At first, when I contacted them, they said it was to late (after the 30 days) but after writing a review they did reach out to me and made things right. I do have to give 5 stars for customer service after they resolved my issue and resolved it very quickly. They were great and I would not hesitate to purchase now that I know the company does strive to make customers happy. They sent me a replacement and I am happy with the customer service. For the most part, I am happy with the chair. It is well made and will withstand any weather. If your using it on your deck, this would be a great chair. It is nice that is folds so you can reduce the space needed when you are not using it. If you are using it on a Baja deck in your pool, as others have said, you would have to somehow modify it in order for it to stay in place. It will not work for me in the pool. MY Baja deck is to deep I think for it to stay in place. However, if someone sits on it, then it works great. So I will keep it out of the pool when not using and when someone is using it, as long as they stay on the chair, it will stay in place in the pool. Overall, I think this is a great value compared to other chairs that are much more expensive. I do wish it had more weight to it on the bottom so it stayed in place without someone having to sit on it. ... show more

They say they support 400 pounds which was a huge plus. I bought them hoping I could use them on my tanning ledge and yea! they stay stationary on the ledge and are easy on and out from the steps. So much cheaper than the ones that support only 250 pounds. I’ve got a big 6 foot 6 son I worried about weight on. They fold up so easier to carry. They do recommend not leaving out in the sun but since they fold up for storage I can handle that. Again for the price I don’t care if I only get one season out of them but hopefully they’ll last. ... show more

    • Great chair for the price. And we don't use them as a float.
After I read a few other reviews and saw people putting holes in the bottom of these chairs so they take in water, I tried it myself. I was not disappointed. We needed these chairs for our baja shelf in the pool and didn't want to pay $700 for the chairs you fill with water and leave in the pool. So we bought these and have loved them. I put holes in the appropriate places and we then put them in the pool and fill them with water. Then they sit on the baja shelf perfectly without floating away. When I am done, I simply empty them and store them off to the side. People complained about the bolt rusting and I could see how that would happen however, I pull mine out after each use and the bolt seems to be fine for now. The only draw back I can see is the part you sit/lay on has bumps from the design and for me, it's a little "uncomfy" over time. Not enough to make me not use it but after a while I will have to get out. And then I have the little imprints on my back. They go away but I wish it was smoother. For now, we use a towel over it to add a little more comfort. If you don't want to pay top dollar for a chair you put on your baja shelf, do the hack people mentioned and you won't be disappointed. ... show more

This is a great product to use in the pool but I thought once the chair was full of water it would stay in place but it floats away. It’s also very hard to balance on it if your floating.
