Update: This works a lot better when hooked directly to a 3/4HP pump. Can spray about 25 feet. I aimed the nozzles high, since my pool is only 20ft wide at the pressure side pool cleaner port. I'll kick my rating up to 3 stars, since I had to spend almost $1800 on an electric pool cleaner to free up the pump outlet, and that option is not something that everyone would be willing to do to make a $25 pool accessory work... This arrived today. The install was simple, taking about 5 minutes plus a bit of time to trim back a plant. As shown in the pictures, it's pretty unimpressive, spraying about 6 feet...this is when using the high pressure valve orientation, as specified in the Amazon product description. I know I shouldn't really expect much for the cheap price, but there were a lot of good reviews, so I figured I'd give it a shot. It's likely that the poor performance is related to the size of my pool, since the pump pressure is distributed between 9 pool/spa jets. I think it'd work well if connected to the booster pump outlet for a pressure side pool cleaner, which I may try if I ever get around to purchasing an electric cleaner. Anyway, I'd avoid this for pool/spa setups. It'd probably be fine in smaller pools that don't have many jets on the main pump outlet. ... show more

Just got mine installed, I piped it directly to my PVC return line because I didn't want it inside my pool. It actually works really well and will easily shoot the water all the way over my pool if I completely close the valve to my return jet. So it works for it's intended purpose and I'm sure my kids will get a kick out of it this summer. However, I can't comment on how well it works when installed inside a pool using the supplied valve thing. The only other thing I will mention is this is NOT PVC. It is very cheap plastic and will break easily if you aren't careful. But given the price I didn't expect much in terms of quality. One of the joints also leaks a little but I'm sure I can fix that with a little teflon tape. Overall I'm happy with it, I just wish it was made from actual PVC, I would be willing to pay a little extra for that. ... show more

Needed this to help cool off our 20X48 above ground pool during our 90-100 degrees days in Arkansas! The kids love the “built-in pool sprinkler” and it does help to lower the water temperature. It is a light, cheaper plastic, and did have to re-glue one connection, after installed. I bought a couple PVC fittings for less than $4 at local ACE hardware store to adapt the fountain to our Intex return outlet of the pool. We like it. ... show more

The Elbow section is glued and broke with the water pressure running through it in the first 30 mins of use. (Where the purple line is in pic- the flange gets glued to left and tgat piece to right glued the inside where it sluos in). Got some spray all in one pipe weld from hardware store to repair.(the purple). Now it holds. I would buy the flower one instead as these 2 Sprays hard to angle because the setup keeps leaning under the water pressure. Perhaps not meant for a regular pump. I have 1/3 flow though the sprinkler and 2/3 angled down to rotate the pool. Functions but not as expected. ... show more

I really really really like this design. It cooled off the pool really well. More than the last one I had. I had to use my previous fountain Nut to tighten to the return. The one it can't with was machined/molded wrong. The pressure fit glue used is either cheap, or melted in a warehouse or UPS truck because it was defective from the beginning. You may need to buy marine grade glue if this is an issue. I'm returning this unit and getting another and hopefully things will be good. Again. I love the design and the rubber seals. It worked great. But the fact that I'll probably have to buy glue in future, means you get 3 stars for now. ... show more
