My niece plays softball and this was the perfect bat for her to practice her swings with. The bat is long and skinny. This is more for older girls in high school or college. When in use, you can definitely feel where the sweet spot is. The ball is a lot lighter than your standard softball. But, it is good to practice with. It was comfortable to use.
