1. This set arrived slightly earlier than expected, which is always nice. 2. It was packed in vacuum-sealed plastic within a zippered soft case, a surprisingly small package until I let the air in. The bedding had a certain amount of wrinkles where it had been compressed down, but that's only to be expected. If it wasn't one of the things amazon wanted me to rate in the review, I wouldn't even have mentioned it. 3. There was no scent on the bedding whatsoever, no loose threads, stickers, etc. 4. I was able to unpack and make the bed in five minutes. Nice and easy. 5. The fitted sheet is pretty roomy on a twin mattress, and there are little loops on the corners. I imagine they would add extra support for a twin plus mattress, but would also be the perfect place to attach mattress straps. I'm not sure if that was intended, but either way it was a nice surprise! ... show more

I was really happy with this comforter set. The material is super soft. The purple is just what I was looking for. Definitely a royal dark purple. The actual blanket is heavy enough but not too much. I bought this for my Mom’s bed in the nursing home and I have to say I absolutely love it and it is incredibly soft and very very pretty! The twin size even came with two pillow cases! She was so excited to sleep in her new bedding! Highly recommend this and will buy again in the future as needed!

A bit more thickness and I would be tempted to go with a 5. It doesn't seem cheap. It is very pretty and a pleasure to sleep on or under. For being fairly lightweight, it holds body heat in well without leading to sweating. Yeah, pretty close to a 5 really. The pillow cases and sheets are very nice.
