This pink recorder was an absolute hit at a party the other day. No kids. Just a bunch of grownups eating and drinking. At least half the women at the party had played “hot cross buns” or “three blind mice” on a recorder back when they were in elementary school. It was quickly named the barbie recorder, played repeatedly, and I don’t know that it will be returned in reasonable time. I’ve now ordered more recorders so that there are enough to go around next time. As for the quality of this recorder, it’s in tune and sounds fine. Especially for the price point. This is a great first instrument to teach your kids. The color options are fun and make it easy to get one for each of your kids without getting them confused. The recorder comes apart for easier storage, but I already found the space without needing to seperate. Its faitly heavy for a plastic recorder. The weight is reasonable. The holes are appropriately spaced and tuned appropriately. Overall, cute and functional and happy to have it!

This is a decent quality recorder. My toddler loves all things noisy so we thought this would be fun for her. It comes apart so she is able to toot the top piece without having the whole horn to worry about. She loves it.

    • Getting Wind of It
This is a good introductory instrument for any age. It is ideal for kids as the finger holes are reasonably spaced and are small. This recorder comes with a cleaning rod, but not the cloth. It also comes in an assortment of different colors. These recorders are ideal for a music class for beginners.
