I've always been a budget value kinda guy. Walmart scopes, low end Tasco scopes and such. Taking this scope out of the box and looking through it......wow. excellent clarity through the glass. The reticle is very thin and fine. It doesn't cover up the target. I have not put it on my rifle yet. I'm not an experienced shooter and or user of scopes but will do my best to update this review once I get some lead down range. Mounting this on a 30-06 so we'll see how it holds up. ... show more

    • Quality Control Issues
I loved the glass etched reticle. I mostly pest and target shoot. The mildots and crosshairs are small and fine. I love this because they are not hiding my target at 50 to100 yards away. With that being said the second scope was a disappointment. Focus was not sharp and the bottom mildots we're washed out when reticle was in red color. Returned this one and too bad because first scope is decent. Way too much competition out there in this price range... ... show more

Good scope for the money! Have it on a 17 hmr and so far it has been flawless. The only thing that I noticed on a full zoom the picture gets bubbly and off focus even with adjustment but a quick small down trun of the zoom adjustment clears it up. I like the illuminated reticle it really helps at night and the settings arnt overbearing and flood the scope it is very easy on the eyes. ... show more

The blue light was the only one that had distinctive mil dots. The red and green was very blurry and had two vertical lines going through the mil dots.
