I want to start off by saying that this is a $60 scope on Amazon and that you should entirely expect what you're getting out of that. While I personally don't go hunting, I can easily assure you that this scope will probably be passable for something like plinking at the range or for looks in airsoft at best. If you're looking to buy this for actual hunting, I would absolutely recommend looking elsewhere or to instead just save up the cash for a name-brand scope as it will not only be an overall better experience but will also probably last longer. With that out of the way, as for the product itself, its just alright. I mounted this on my airsoft rifle and out of the box, shots were flying all over the place and the scope desperately needed to be zeroed. While this was expected, the frustrating part about this is that the knobs seem to be a bit more on the sensitive side and made the zeroing process very annoying and finnicky. Other than that though, its a pretty standard low-budget scope. Nothing really stands out in terms of quality but certain parts feel a little sharp from manufacturing. The red dot and the reticle can get fairly bright but diffraction spikes from the light are present at nearly any brightness other than the lowest setting (this can vary from user to user though) and can be an eyesore after extended use. The integrated laser on the side is somewhat on point with the reticle but is a little far to the right so I wouldn't really recommend relying on that. In the end, its fairly generic and if you're using it for something relatively casual, it will simply do the job. ... show more

My personal experience, I put this on my .177 air rifle, and also a Rossi RS22 semi automatic .22 rifle. The scope was surprisingly zeroed before I put it on, and I didn't have any issue with it holding zero for either of the two rifles I put it on. It has some nice features as well. A red laser pointer, green and red illuminated reticle, and the magnification ring is smooth and easy to adjust, unlike a lot of optic manufacturers that put the magnification ring on there tighter than a lug nut. I usually don't like second focal plane optics, but for something small like a .22, .17 HMR, or low to medium powered air rifle, it's really not necessary. However, the problem I have is the optic's adjustment mechanism. I understand, this optic is made to arrive pretty darn close to zero for most rifles, so that you can just slap it on and use the simple elevation knob to adjust range. However, the elevation knob doesn't go up or down by MOA adjustments, it goes up by "Yard" markings. Which, in the world of reputable optics, that's a big no-no. You just cannot do this. I'll give it a 4/5 because it worked fantastically for what I used it for, but I doubt that if I used this on my AR-10, it would provide the same results as it would for my air rifle and .22 semi auto. ... show more

So it may be marketed for real guns...but I think this is more sensibly installed on airsoft or gelblaster. Why would I say this...because while it feels like it will do the job, it doesn't have the optical qualities I'm used to even in this price range. It will work...and it will do the job. Pretty good scope for the price. The clarity of the optics could definitely be better, and there's some distortion around the edges as well. But for around $60 it's pretty much as expected. I like the wide range of magnification from 2.5 to 10, and the magnification ring is right where I intuitively reach for it, which is nice as well. I like the option for either red or green illuminated reticle, each with a range of brightness settings available. As an added bonus there's also a laser attached to the side of the scope in order to project a red dot onto your target. Second focal plane makes it easy to adjust, at least for me, compared to FFP optics. The reticle stays the same size throughout the entire magnification range and it's easy to adjust the diopter to get the reticle crisp and clear. The usual moa adjustment is available as well. Comes with bikini cover that has a yellow tinted eye piece. Scope includes all batteries necessary for operation. This isn't the best scope out there, but for the price it may very well be. It's good enough to take to the range and have a good time plinking stuff, but the clarity isn't good enough for me to relay on it for hunting purposes. Using this scope to zero in on or track targets in heavily wooded or forested areas is challenging if not laughable. So if you're on a budget and looking for something basic to take to the range, this isn't a bad way to go. Eye relief is great and the 40mm objective is nice to have as well. ... show more

Looks great, mounted easy, has nice features. But the optics are not the clearest and I cannot get the red dot to turn off. I have to unscrew the cap to turn the light off. Furthermore, the include instructions don't really match this scope and seem to be copied from a different, highly reputable, scope manufacturer. ... show more
