I didn't know about how a large trailer surgery brake worked when I bought it. The key that came with it didn't work well. This clink with the magnet fits perfectly and magnet holds it in place whether in place to disable the brakes, or disengaged to allow brakes to work.

This little part is awesome for my boat trailer. I have a Sholander boat trailer and it fits perfect. The one that came with it would always pop out and my trailer would get stuck when I'm trying to back up. This one fits snuggly and does not budge and it's great to have the magnet so I can store it on the tongue when I'm not using it.

The media could not be loaded. Strong magnetic and snapped right in place. The factory key is not that great, easy to lose and would fall out. Someone suggested a magnetic key and this one popped up. Fit like a charm and didn’t cost to much. Shipping was super fast(next day) and I’m glad I got it. Would recommend

Excellent idea with the magnet, the original one was more challenging to keep in place. I plan to order a back up one, because every time you find a product that works, it gets discontinued.
