So to start, I see everywhere online within the rollerskating community that you should have very snug skates and that the suede will break in so much the skates will grow two sizes in size. I hemmed and hawed over what size to order for weeks. For reference, I am always a size 8.5/39 in womens. Always. My feet are 24.5 cm long and quite narrow. I originally was going to order the mens 7, but after seeing all kinds of posts everywhere, including one person who said they had 25.5 cm feet and the 6s fit perfectly, I decided to go for the 6. When they arrived it felt like my toes were being crushed. They didn't even reach the end of the boot, the toe box was just so small/short vertically. I took out the insoles and measured them against the insoles in my actual suede boots and they were identical, so it was purely just way too little room in the toe box, especially with the massive seam where the tongue is sewn in. I couldn't wiggle my toes even a little. I went to reddit to ask whether this was normal, and most every response said their boardwalks required almost no breaking in and fit great right out of the box. A few people told me to add suede conditioner and just skate around to break them in, but then I wouldn't have been able to exchange them and I was just not convinced that would help. I exchanged them for the 7s and they are PERFECT. They fit so comfortably and are just the right amount of snug. My feet don't slide around or anything, and it feels like if the suede broke in a lot (I am not convinced at all it will break in a whole size up. That has never happened in any suede shoe I have ever owned) I could just wear cushier socks to mitigate that. All that being said, everything else about them is perfect. All I had to do out of the box was loosen the trucks and I was ready to go. The wheels and laces are great. At this price, this is a substantially better deal than Moxi Beach Bunnies, which are vinyl and need the wheels replaced out of the box. The boardwalks are gonna last forever. I like the nylon plate, actually. It's sturdy but lightweight and can be replaced eventually if I want. I got the light purple color. It's a pretty color but I also consider it a bonus that I could redye these eventually once they're dirty because the purple is so light and neutral. I could go for a nice deep green or black or even a rich brown. Really pleased with these. I like that the wheel spacing is closer together because it will make them ideal for certain tricks, but coming from rollerblades it's a funny change in balance, but certainly isn't slowing me down at all. Overall, super recommend these. And hey, they're actually available to buy, unlike most skates!

First skate buyer here. I tried Moxi Beach Bunny's and they are much more stiff than these. If you are looking for a ~*very*~ structured boot then I'd recommend those. These are a lot softer and feel more like a shoe you'd actually wear. They are still supportive but much less constricting and I also found them easier to lace and tighten. I have slightly narrow feet and am anywhere from a women's size 8 to 9 in street shoes depending on the brand and a mens 7 in the sure-grip skates are perfect for me. I went by the size chart. I have long toes and my toes were not smashed in the toe box. Can't wait to start learning more!

My son got these for my 49th birthday 🛼🥳 I had been using GT-50’s for over a decade outdoors (zero problems, highly recommend)) ❤️. I wanted something i could make pretty & i trust sure grip. They were stiff the first day, but i skated them hard for a few hours outdoors and the second day i put them on they were great. Love! Each time is more comfortable. The 65mm outdoor wheels are Awesome. I put red bones bearings for more speed. But i wanted to accent in pink so we put the lil ez hawgs on. My son is actually using the boardwalk wheels on his skates and loves them. These skates are so fun to customize and more fun to skate in! 🛼🤍🛼

The Boardwalks are really comfy, and I'm surprised they aren't talked about more. I've heard these are really comparable to the Moxy Lolly's and run about $150 less. Why they are great: I love that they run a little wide so you can wear thick socks while breaking them in. The best part about these skates is they are great out of the box. I simply loosened the trucks and wheel nuts and took them out for a skate. No need to upgrade any hardware. The boardwalk outdoor wheels are so grippy-even though my old skate wheels were the same size and hardness, these are notably higher quality. A few minor issues I have with the skates: the eyelets left black marks on the tongue and laces. Also, the toe stops get loose and rattle, and I have to tighten them frequently. Sometimes mid skate session. Overall, I'm really happy with my investment.

I’m a size 7.5-8 womens running shoes. I bought a size 6 and they fit perfectly, in my opinion. I like a snug fit. My toes go to the end of the skate, but they do not feel cramped. The left skate felt a bit uncomfortable compared to the right, but the second time I put them on they both get more comfortable. Since I like a tighter fit, size six works perfectly for me. The skates fit my ten year old daughter with some room at the toes. The wheels needed to be adjust which is normal for new skates from what I read so I had already purchased a skate tool. They move nicely and give really good ankle support. I’m not sure how a bigger size would feel. They seem like really nice skates but time will tell. The color is really pretty. Shipping was on time which was really nice. I had originally ordered a pair of Moxy beach bunny skates but they are still delayed with no information about when and if they will ever ship. Amazon will not let me cancel the order, which is disappointing because I am moving out of state bin a few months. Anyway, seem like good skates. Update: After wearing the skates a few times, the skate are hurting my feet after 10-15 minutes. I’m giving these to my daughter. I will need to size up to a seven which goes against the sizing chart.

I know bew shoes and skates you have to use them until they get loose, but these are so hard. My ankle bones were in pain just to have them inside the skates. Also these are for skinny feet. True size. I wear shows 7 in women and skates 6 men/ 7 women fit fine. They look cute and good quality but I rather get skates with some padding.
