My kids ( 12 and 14) both love MadLibs and since we are homeschooling we decided to incorporate it into our grammar lessons for fun. Keep in mind this is one big book and not several individual books so if you want it for multiple kids you should probably buy a few. I was shopping for MadLibs books for weeks comparing prices and considering what the individual books cost this is hands down the best deal I have found. The stories are fairly easy so as long as the players know what verbs, nouns and adjectives ect are then they should be fine. The front of the book also gives suggestions for those grammar rules if need be. Normally I let the kids do 2-4 stories each taking turns and its usually laughter and smiles the whole time followed by begging to do just one more. I highly recommend this for everyone especially for homeschool families looking to add fun activities to their language arts lessons. ... show more

Great for big families or frequent users. Arrived in great condition and is better quality than I expected. It kind of feels like a thick coloring book. Mad Libs are fun but a little flimsy and easy to lose so I thought this would be a good investment and it was! Only a couple dollars more than a regular Mad Libs book with more funny stories to fill in (and I haven't had to ask if anyone knows where it went because it stands out). We've been doing one or two almost daily and it's nice not having to worry about running out of stories anytime soon. If you're new to Mad Libs, don't think you'll need this many stories, or aren't sure if the person you're buying for will like them, I'd start with a smaller book. ... show more

These supersized volumes are great for hours of family fun. This volume contains a total of five books that would cost $20+ if purchased individually. The larger format also makes it easier for younger members of the family to join in the fun. We homeschool and, at my children's request, start almost language arts lesson with one or two mad libs.
