    • Holds up to 4 yr old but pipe is near impossible to use
The slider on the pipe is impossible for my 4 yr old and nearly impossible for adults. Takes 2 hands to get the slider to move but other than that he loves it.

You get so much here plus a Mario 2.5 inch figure to go along with the playset. Quick Review: -Price point at $19.99 for this is fantastic! -Play features (going up & down the pipe, & the pop up coin) are fun & easy to use -Perfect for kids to play with (seems durable) -Great for collectors -Makes a great background for Mario inspired collection pictures I have nothing bad to say about this set, it is everything I hoped for it to be plus more.     • Comes apart easily but the little one likes it
My 4 year old son loves his Mario stuff, but some of the these sets don't snap into place & just kind of set into place. Bowser castle, Peach's Castle & Boo Mansion lock into place... This one only "sets" into place. Every time his cousins come over it's taken apart & I have to put it back together after they leave. I'm contemplating super glue. ... show more

Nice set which is more like a collectable set than a toy, I envisioned our son playing with this, as he loves Mario. However I don't see this lasting for rough play, as It is designed to be just a dresser top display for an older child who admires the game. I didn't give 5 stars because this is marketed as a toy, and it isn't really of "toy" quality, as it won't stand up to kid play without breaking, but looks nice. The price is questionable, as it could be more or less depending on what you intend to do with this. Yet I would not call it a play set, but a collectable... ... show more
