I've been dreaming of a snack I can take with me as I run out of the house - that actually tastes good and doesn't just claim to be good for you, actually is! Well this is it. The taste is great but you do have to get used to it - it isn't dyed or filled with sugar afterall like literally everything else. You can actually taste the flavors of the real ingredients. I also like the packaging - you don't have to eat the whole thing at once and you can keep it in your purse without crumbs/food getting everywhere. SO HAPPY this finally exists.

I find these are a good flavorful early morning snacks. These are kind of like breakfast bars but better ingredients, think of comparable to what you would get out of a Larabar or RX Bar, but even better for you. I think if they can get the price point down to $2 per serving (there are only 2 servings per bag) then you really have a good option here.

I love that each flavor has a yummy super foods coating that gives it the extra taste that other snacks in this field lack. Thinking about the tastes of ingredients in the different varieties of this product, I didn't find them to be super appealing, but I decided to try what seemed like the best for my taste. If it was good, I could contemplate getting more of this product for its supposed health benefits. I like cacao and I like coffee, so I decided try the Mocha Maca variety, though I generally don't like to taint my chocolate with coffee flavor on top of it. That combo is less unappealing to me than adding cinnamon, tumeric, ginger, beet, or kale to anything. Interestingly, the #1 and #2 item's in the product's ingredient list are almonds and dates, though they are not mentioned anywhere in the written product description. And in fact, this product turns out to have a taste and texture very similar to other date-and-nut "healthy food" snacks that I've tried. In this product, the date taste dominates, I didn't notice the mocha, and the texture is denser than other ones I've tried. I'm not sensitive to various concerns like dairy-free, organic, and vegan, so I wouldn't care to pay this product price premium to address those concerns. However, the single-pack that I got would be a good way for others to try out the product's taste before making a larger commitment.

Well, these have an appropriate name. Especially if you get the chocolate ones, they have the taste and texture of slightly fruity dirt. I like dark cocoa in foods as well as many of the other ingredients in these dirt balls so I don't totally dislike these. In fact, knowing what they are made of, I like them for their wholesome snack-ness. I would totally want to buy these and eat them regularly as a snack if they didn't cost so much for such a small amount of food. Two servings of 3 balls each isn't going to tide me over for a snack that tastes like fruity dirt. If it isn't sweet, I need to eat enough to *physically* tide me over not just mentally. If I was a total health nut, these may just hit the spot. Unfortunately, I'm an average American that likes to snack on junk food with a small desire to eat healthy food cause I know it's good for me.
