The quality of these is questionable. A few were broken and a few others had the hook fall off. The main issue in my estimation is the "velvet". To me, the friction with that makes it more difficult and time consuming to hang your clothes, making the plastic hangers available probably being the better choice. Does anyone really care if their hangers look good? Function seems the primary issue. Many like these, I didn't. Update: Upon further reflection, I upped the stars from two to three. You see, I'm at times a little slow on the uptake. It took me about an hour to hang about 50 long and short sleeved tees on these lovely velvet hangers. I figdeted with each one with the velvet making it a tedious process. Each one had to be perfect so that I didn't stretch the neckline (the bane of perfectionism). The solution is obvious but apparently not for me. Instruction: insert hanger from the bottom of the shirt or light sweater, working it up so the hook comes out of the neck hole. And the reverse when you want to wear it. No stretching of the neckline. Easy peasy ( for some).

These are great for the price…the hook has come off on a couple of the… so don’t pull too hard. They really hold the silkier items well.
