So overall I’m just so-so on this toy, but my littles absolutely love bubbles and this thing definitely produces a lot when it actually works properly. Unfortunately toddlers are wild and crazy, they don’t tend to keep all 4 wheels of any toy on the ground and there was no exception with this toy either which is what makes this work well. For being a toddler toy I think it leaks bubble solution way too easily which wastes a lot of bubbles. I was nervous because of the bad reviews, but my son has been playing with this almost every day for two weeks, and it works great! He is 18 months so it did take maybe two days of him practicing and me showing and helping him before he would push it fast enough, but now he does great on his own. To respond to the bad reviews’ criticisms: Pace: it really doesn’t have to be pushed that fast, and my son runs with it, so I don’t think it can go “too fast” to make bubbles. Bubbles: great!!! It makes lots and we haven’t had any issues. I filled it back up target since squad bubbles and it actually worked even better. Leaking: I overfilled it once and it was leaking all over the place. If you use the bubble container it comes with measure out, it is completely fine, unless maybe the kid picks it up and turns it upside down. Obviously there are places it can leak because there needs to be a place for bubbles to come out. Surface: the back wheels do need to grip the ground to produce bubbles. My son had issues when he was learning because he would lift up on the handle and only the front wheels would touch, but now he’s figured it out. We use it on the driveway and sidewalk, I can see how it might not work that well on a bumpy lawn. Size: it is perfect for my 18 month, old but I can see how it would be small for a 3 or 4 year old. Overall, we are super happy with the purchase. It is a $20 toy and might not even last the whole summer, but honestly I don’t expect a lot of durability at this price. Still worth to! ... show more

Pros: There's a place on the back of the mower to store the bubble container, which is cool if your kid is the, "will listen when told not to touch something," kind of kid. Mine is not. We did not store the bubbles there. Also, it doesn't need batteries, so you can use it the second it comes out of the box and has bubbles poured into it. Cons: Do you see the hole in my photos, where a lid does not exist? I have attached a product photo with what is supposed to exist there. Every child that has come over to my house and used this mower has IMMEDIATELY removed this piece. It has some kind of toddler magnetism that says, "PULL ME OFFFFFFFFF," to each and every child. This would not usually be a big deal, except this is where you put the bubbles into the mower, and the only piece of plastic keeping said bubbles inside said mower. If you also have a 13 year old, like I do, who is easily convinced by said toddlers that it would be a good idea to bring the mower without a lid over the bubble compartment INTO THE HOUSE, nobody is going to have a good time... except probably the toddler, until they fall down on the hardwood floor that's covered in slippery bubble liquid and has now become a death luge. So, if you can avoid the giant disaster above like I was unable to, this is a super fun toy that so far, every kid has really loved. ... show more

My son could push this lawnmower for hours, he loves it. He loves that it blows out bubbles. Easy to refill too. He will mow when my husband mows and frequently want to go to the yard and “mow.” No negatives. It’s holding up well to its constant use.
