okay , i really don't give out 5 stars to much . But this time i will. Package Arrived on time and undamaged. this is always a good thing . Set up was rather easy . parts bags were numbered and instructions referred to those numbers . i have no doubt my 7yr old could have put it together. following the instructions. printing was good printed up one of the test prints . its now a cup to hold cook ware in the kitchen . nice details . might reprint in a multi color filament. currently printing up a 24hr print. candy dish as seen on printer. have also printed up other things toy dragon and shark for daughter . they both are moveable i guess is best word . ass seen in pictures. so far i have printed up two roblox signs four cousins kids to paint . parts for my warthog throttle ( button box to attach to side, new lower face plate. multi color. hade to pause print and change filament) incense holders for me , wife and mother inlaw * ran out of white so finished in black. okay . now for the problem i had . one of the extruder gears. fell out of place Shown in picture . did message seller about problem and sent pictures shown here . and even thou its the new year celebration i did get a timely response from them. asking me to take steps and send them pictures . they felt something was missing. so they could send missing parts at no charge . upon looking at the second picture . i took i noticed a set screw . used provided Allen wrench and tightened screw. problem was solved. so overall I'm impressed . product after hrs of printing using 1kg OVERTURE PLA Plus (PLA+) 250g pla white that came with machine. still works with no problems. i have turned off fast print since im doing smaller model detail . customer service was prompt in replying back provided necessary tools with machine to put it together and fix a minor problem like a set screw so they get 5 stars ... show more

I bought this printer off Amazon last July, and I thought I would learn as I go. Well I learned that just after my return period was up the printer started having issues. At first I had to level(tram) the bed before every print job. Otherwise the layers would not stick to the bed. Then like a week after the 90 mark I got an alarm and an error on the printer. I tried to find a fix and contact sunlu support (which was in itself a hassle) once I finally got someone to respond I thought great we'll get somewhere now. I am still trying to get this printer up and running since October 2023. Now the girl I was working with has stopped responding to my emails. ... show more

While Sunlu tried to market this machine as a fast printer, their claims of printing at 250mm per second are pure fantasy. Yes, it will move at 250mm per second for the most part in "fast mode", but I wouldn't call what the T3 does in fast mode "printing". A more accurate account of what it does in fast mode would be to say the T3 is capable of printing some of the ugliest, worst quality prints one could imagine. Without input shaping and a much bigger heat block on your hot end, you just can't get those kinds of speeds out of a Cartesian style printer. All that said, what the Sunlu T3 is, is a much improved Ender 3 and is currently selling at a much lower price. The T3 has every upgrade I would put into an Ender 3 except for a second Z axis lead screw. I installed a second lead screw as I was assembling it, however, the way Sunlu added two outside cam nuts on the outside of the X axis extrusion, it's likely that the T3 will maintain an even X axis much easier than an Ender 3 with a single lead screw. While on the subject of lead screws, be advised that unlike the Ender 3, the included lead screw with the Sunlu T3 is a TR8x4, not TR8x8. So it actually has twice the Z axis resolution out of the box as the Ender 3. It has a filament detection switch that doubles as clog detection for the hot end, it has an all metal dual gear extruder, it comes with a 3DTouch "BLTouch" knock-off bed leveling sensor, a 32 bit control board with silent stepper drivers and a genuine MeanWell power supply. The build surface is a magnetically attached polycarbonate surface. The frame design is more akin the base Ender 3 model, but Sunlu rotated the center 20x40 extrusion 90 degrees so it lays horizontal rather than vertical, which means the POM rollers for the bed are 40mm's apart like the Ender 3 Pro. I feel like Sunlu took the best parts of the Ender 3 platform and added most of the upgrades an Ender 3 user would want. For $129.99, how can I knock it?
