I was skeptical of purchasing because some reviews complained about it being hard to rub in or having a weird consistency. I'm very pleased I purchased it anyway. It's a release by friction product. You have to rub it in until it "releases" and it will spread evenly over the skin. It smells amazing and per ounce is ridiculously cheaper than other tanning lotions I've used before. It doesn't contain bronzer so no gross orange palms and no transfer to clothes. Finding a tanning lotion without bronzer can be difficult so I was extremely pleased that this is bronzer free. I will update my review after a few more uses so I can accurately describe how well it actually darkens my tan. All in all though it seems like an amazing product and if it helps me tan darker and/or faster I will be purchasing several more bottles.

I received this today and I went straight to the tanning bed, LOL! I love how smoothly this cream rubs into your skin as well as how great it smells. It was very easy to apply and it wasn’t greasy or sticky. 20 minutes in the tanning bed and WOW!!! I have not found a lotion that works THIS well. Definitely a tanning accelerator and the color is gorgeous!!! I also love that you can use this directly in the sun, so if you go to the pool or the beach, you can it there too!! A must have for summer!

Isletan's Sunbed Tanning Lotion isn't a self-tanner; it can help accelerate a natural tan -- suitable for use in a tanning bed (there are ingredient specifications for it) and outdoors. It has a tropical scent, to me. I apply it sparingly and evenly to get best results; it can take a bit to absorb, but also leaves my skin feeling well moisturized, which is important to me during UV exposure.

This works ok as a tanning lotion. I use it in the stand up bed. My other lotions I get from the salon give me much better results but I keep this as a back up for when I run out of my first choice. It smells fine and goes on smooth. Just doesn’t give the results I want.
