My 5th different set of multifocal progressive eyeglasses, and the most comfortable
Color: Clear 0 Zero Top Multifocal Lens(black/B...
Magnification Strength: 2.0 Diopters
I have tried six different sets of multifocal progressive eyeglasses and one set of bifocal readers. This one is the most comfortable. The first three are prescription glasses from professional optician stores. The independent optician store charged me $600 for JUST the lenses, and the optical depart
ment at the big box store with a reputation for high quality cost me $250 for the frames and lenses. My vision with all these glasses was sharp and clear. The optician's glasses count for two sets because the first try made me so dizzy I was nauseated. The optician's second try was better and I tried to believe it is good, but I gave up after 6 weeks because of dizziness and nausea. The big box store glasses were much better, but still caused dizziness with just a tinge of nausea. Then I bought a set of 3 glasses from Amazon that were supposed to be half-power at the top and full power at the bottom, but were actually 0 power at the top. I was lucky to get these. One of these 3 glasses was excellent, and I wore it without dizziness, but after a year it broke. The other 2 glasses in this set were not clear enough. Then I bought a single pair from Amazon and although my vision was clear dizziness and nausea were problematic. The seller exchanged these for bifocal readers. These did not make me dizzy but the bifocal line was uncomfortable, and it just wasn't nearly as easy to use as the pair that had broken. Now comes this set of 2 glasses. These are excellent. I see clearly with both pair. One pair produces no dizziness at all, and this is the only pair to do this. The other pair causes slight dizziness and is second best. These are the best of the glasses I have used. They are clearer than the pair that broke after a year, and I can wear them all day. I should try to go without glasses more of the time, but eyeglasses have become a habit over many decades, and the habit is hard to break after all this time. In sum, these are better than glasses from the professional opticians. These glasses are well made with adjustable soft silicone nose pads, just like costly glasses. I like the looks of the gun metal gray color, but the black is acceptable. To see best I need to have these glasses as close to my eyes as I can arrange. It is easy to rate 5 stars when these $11 glasses are better than the much more costly ones from opticians--but I rate the 5 stars regardless of price.

Get the job done for a very reasonable price
Color: Clear 0 Zero Top Multifocal Lens(black/B...

They work good, and as others have said, it takes a little adjusting. I like them better than just single magnification classes. I wish they were clear and that lightly tinted.

Absoutely INCREDIBLE glasses, at a FRACTION of the cost of what the same type would have cost at the optician! I will be ordering extras to keep in various areas. Quality and packaging was perfect.

The reading works , but the upper half should have 0 , when I looked at it says top 0 , middle computer, and reading bottom, I don't have a problem in distance, the top is so blurry I have to look over the glasses to see in distance! That not what I expected! Soorry guys , you can do better!

Worthless For My Purposes
Color: Clear 0 Zero Top Multifocal Lens(black/B...
Magnification Strength: 3.0 Diopters
I need a 1.5 for general/distance and 3.0 for anything closer than arm's length. You only get to choose the maximum strength on these but based on the write-up I thought I understood that you'd get the strength you selected in the lower half and half that (1.5, in this case) in the upper half. Actual
ly, you get a LITTLE bit of the strength selected at the bottom, a very quick transition right above that, about a quarter of the way from the bottom (and while 1.5 may be in that transition somewhere that's not useful to me), and then the upper three fourths of the lens (!) seems to have no strength at all. So... If you just want basically plain glass with a small area of magnification at the bottom (and I have to tip my head WAY back to make any use of that) then maybe these are for you, but there's effectively no difference between these and wearing half-height readers. What I was REALLY wanting was a pair of readers where I could pick two strengths and have the stronger of the two taking up the lower half of the lens (for near), and the lower strength taking up the upper half (for far). I had heard this was possible but these are not that. Guess I'll keep looking, after I throw these in the trash.

These were for my husband, who absolutely loves them! much better than foster grants. they fit him well and seem sturdy. A note they don’t fit a small woman’s head well but they are high-quality

Multi Focus Not Ready for Prime Time
Color: Clear 0 Zero Top Multifocal Lens(black/B...
Magnification Strength: 1.25 Diopters
idk, I'm 50, and honestly have no problems with needing readers, I love that we live in a society where they are so available and so helpful, a small price to pay for having been around for 50 years, that being said, I thought it must be great to have something that is for reading/screens and for dis
tance, but this is my second time trying 'multi focus' and the second time I have been befuddled by the product, it's like (AT LEAST FOR ME) I'm always at the wrong angle and something is always out of focus and they're just more of a hassle than they're worth, rather just take off and on my reading glasses from Walmart, but I suspect for me it's the multi focul aspect and hope I can find something that is just readers with clear on top, the clear to me on these is NOT clear enough and still feels like it's messing up my regular vision, which for distance I'm like 20/20... I also thing that 'multi' focal, where the transition occurs is just a hot mess on the vision, and maybe I would get used to these but I'm going to see if it's worth the hassle to return them... sorry, not a better review, I love to hook companies up on here with great reviews but these are just not worth it.... for ME anyway, pretty sure they have a lot of good reviews so it might just be my own peculiarity.

They are great and valuable. Wish they would have come with two fabric bags for storage for each pair. Only got one.
