Wrong color. I was looking for more of a mauve shade but this came out to be more rose pink. Loved the overall feel and quality of the material but it wasn't the color I wanted

Room Darkening- 5 Stars but... These curtains should be installed to hang via room darkening curtain rods to be truly effective. I mounted my curtains on the Umbra Twilight rod. Length - 5 Stars but.... If you have 8-foot ceilings: Hang your curtain rod 3.25" down from the ceiling. The 95" curtains will "kiss" your floor and your ceiling. This has been effective in darkening our room completely. Fabric - 5 Stars but... The fabric is heavy and shiny. It blends well with our semi-gloss painted walls. But might not look great against mat/flat paint finishes. And make sure you have a rod that can hold heavy curtains. Also, expect several days of hanging for the wrinkles to release if you don't wash them first. Off-gassing - 1 star because... These curtains off-gas heavily. If you are sensitive to chemicals like I am, this will hit you hard. As in headaches, strong odor, eye irritation, and nausea in just 4 days of hanging without washing first. But apparently, off-gassing is the norm for blackout curtains of most brands because of how they are made (see article under sleepcavern.com). There is a workaround. After unpacking and inspecting the curtains, wash them in a baking soda/woolite mix on cold water setting with extra soak and extra rinse. I can't hang these outside to dry, so I dried them on extra low setting dryer mode. Then I hung them over my windows and kept my windows open with fans circulating each day. So far this reduced the intensity of the off-gassing in our home. And I'll be washing them again every few days to help speed up the process. BTW, this also removed all the wrinkles. Sound Barrier - No Rating but.... Most of our loud noise (ie thunder) penetrate through the roof anyway. So I can't give a rating here. Overall, I'm very happy with these curtains. I just didn't realize the intensity of the off-gassing which reduces the star rating. ... show more

If you are considering these… DO IT!!! I first found these at Walmart and hated the price because it was $40 for ONE PANEL?!?! Then I saw them at At Home and again, $40 for one panel! However, while at At Home, they had the curtains on display like a sample of each color so you could feel the fabric and they were hung so I was able to hold them up above my head and check to see if light was going to shine through. Nothing! Not a single ray of light coming though so I was instantly committed to buying these. However, they were still $40 for one panel so it would have been over $150 for curtains. I was still committed and my mind was made up I’ll just say eff it and get them. Just my luck— they only had navy, black, or gray. Long story short, I ended up finding them on Amazon from this seller and they are priced at $27 for TWO PANELS! SOLD! Not only that but they also had the beautiful ballet pink that I wanted so I purchased 2 packs and I was nervous it would only be 2 curtains rather than 4. Nope, you get 4 panels. I did not realize how wide 52” was until they were hung. I could have easily hung one panel on each window but I didn’t like the look. I read a few reviews before purchasing that they ordered two and received one panel that was longer/shorter than the other and that the colors didn’t match. As you can see, mine (all 4), match in length and color. I also saw some reviews stating they don’t block out as much sun YET they don’t have blinds up which makes a huge difference in helping block some of the light from coming in. If you have blinds and these curtains, prepare for total darkness. As you can see in my photos, the first pic with the flash is the true color of the curtains. I have a small lamp in the bedroom so the color wasn’t picking up on camera that well. Also in the first pic, the black that you see is the back part of the curtain which is what faces the window, obviously. They’re so so so soft and heavy! I was shocked at how heavy they are. I will 100% be a returning customer for other colors in other rooms of my house. I love them!!! Also— I realize that they’re wrinkled but I was just testing to see if I love them before getting the wrinkles out. I will update afterwards and let you know about my great catch up on sleep days thanks to these curtains! ... show more

Works great, looks fine! These completely darken the room, though we use them more to keep the rooms warm in the coldest days of winter and cool when it's very hot in the summer. We notice a significant change in temperature when they're in use. We now have them in bedrooms throughout the house!

Nice dark blue curtains with a black liner that really helps block out any light. I don’t know about you, but I really enjoy sleeping past 7am in the warmer months and I need curtains like these to maintain the darkness. These are great for that purpose.
