I originally bought this for the winter when the course is too wet and golf carts are “cart paths only”, but here it is the first of September and 84 deg. so decided to test drive it. Took this on the course for the first time today. It handled very well. Love that it has a place for everything. I particularly like the larger lower net basket - I’m forever dropping head-covers on the course so I intentionally looked for a push cart with that feature. Loved that I had color choices and must say that the Magnetic Gray & Red exceeded my expectations. Mine does not pull right like some reviewers mentioned. What I definitely do not like about it is the lack of directions on how everything works. Yes, with a little help from my friends, I’m getting it figured out but even the online, 14 page, “instruction manual” is very vague. I couldn’t figure out how to secure my umbrella with the bungee cord which didn’t seem to do anything. The umbrella was very wobbly and finally blew right out of the holder and knocked the cart over. The instruction manual simply says “place your umbrella inside the holder. If you are using a Sun Mountain umbrella, secure it with the bungee cord”. A fellow golfer said he had to put a thin piece of rubbery fabric inside to steady his umbrella. When I got home my husband showed me how to twist the bungee cord to secure the umbrella- so I’ll try both. Bottom line - it is a great push cart but has no instructions- so be ready. While on that subject…when it arrives they simply say “unfold your cart”. Go ahead and take the handle and pull it up. I was afraid of breaking it - it’s a bit stiff (in a good way). You will not hurt it. That is also how you adjust the angle of the handle bar - brut force. Two levers - one at the top & on at the bottom are how you fold it up - there is a YouTube video on Sun Mountain push cart that will show that feature, again a little vague but it will get you started. ... show more

    • Really like the cart, but....
I’ve waited for 6 weeks to give this review. I use this cart 3 times a week. First the positives - This cart is really easy to push, probably because of the larger wheels. It has 2 pouches and 1 covered area with magnetic closure. It folds really easily and holds my (Sun Mountain) bag without a problem. Can be folded with the bag still attached, but that makes it too heavy (for me) to maneuver into a vehicle easily. The hand-activated brake works well, but sometimes it engages while I’m on the putting green. Must be the pesky squirrels. I would have rated it 5 stars but for 2 issues. First, do the engineers at Sun Mountain read any of the reviews? There are a number of them that pointed out an issue with the cart drifting slightly right. I read these and bought the cart anyway thinking that the Company would have seen those reviews and made whatever correction(s) needed to rectify the situation. Wrong! It doesn’t drift much, but it is definitely there. And, unlike older Sun Mountain carts, there is no front wheel adjustment to correct it. Second, the box had ZERO paperwork that would indicate how to fold/unfold it. Each of the folding points has a lever and a thumb wheel for tightening the tension on the lever. What is the correct sequence to use them? Had to do trial and error to figure it out. End user should not have to guess. Also, what are all the features on the cart and how are they used? The aforementioned covered area with magnetic closure - what is it for? Is it for a scorecard and pencil as there is no outside area for that? Would I buy it again - definitely. But, a little help in these 2 areas would be nice. ... show more

    • Not a new unit
The model itself is a very nice product. Looks good, easy golf, light weight. Although this particular unit was clearly used. Maybe it was a return after a use or 2 but there’s wear marks on the tires, scrapes and dirt under the plastic bag holder. That’s a bummer. I have no problem buying a used model, I just expect to pay used prices, my purchase price was for new. ... show more

    • Exactly as I had hoped - husband loves it!
I had done some research and although this wasn't the least expensive pull cart, it certainly had everything wanted & needed. Umbrella holder, cup holder (people in reviews complain that it is too small but it is flexible/expandable!), lots of storage (mesh bags and 'cubby'), heavy duty wheels, hand break, easy to open & close, and you can store folded with golf clubs attached - my husband loves this feature. It came boxed beautifully and you don't even need the instructions for use, very logical. Looks great, too. (Silver & Red) ... show more
