I often have to work into early morning hours which means that I will still be sleeping well after the sunrises. The blinds that are installed in my bedroom leave a whole lot to be desired when it comes to blocking sunlight and I find it hard to sleep with sunlight streaming into my bedroom. Blackout blinds that can be easily put up or taken down as needed were the answer to my on and off trying to sleep well into the morning problem. I have tried several different brands and have been let down by Velcro that could not support the weight (not that heavy by the way) of the blackout cloth. I decided to give it one more try with these blackout curtains/blinds by Sumobaby. The third time is the charm, or the baby brought it home (so-to-speak) with these blackout curtains by Sumobaby. The whole top of these curtain has pre-installed Velcro that is very sticky. There wasn't even any question that these curtains would stay in place once I saw how sticky the tape side of their Velcro strips were. They also come with several other long Velcro strips that can be cut to length and then installed onto the curtain and your walls where appropriate to keep the curtain as flush as possible with the wall thus avoiding random rays of sunlight finding their way into your room and eyes. So far, Sumobaby is the answer to being able to sleep well into the morning hours for me. I might not have to sleep that late more than a day or two each week but not being behind the eight ball when it comes to catching up on sleep is very much appreciated. Thank you Sumobaby for a quality product that lives up to its promise.

Nice. Great way to insulate a window. Like that it attaches with velcro so you can take it down in warmer months and replace it in colder seasons. Not quite as thick as I expected. It does do an adequate job of keeping the cold out. All in all it serves a purpose and is working so far. My only concern is that with it being thinner than expected I am wondering how many seasons it will last. Time will tell.

A revelation for light-sensitive sleepers like me but a bit pricey. I was skeptical at first, but these curtains truly deliver on their promise of 100% blackout. Installation was a breeze with the hook and loop tapes - no drilling required, which is perfect for my rental apartment. The thermal insulation is an added bonus, helping to keep my bedroom cooler in summer and warmer in winter. I love how portable they are but they are very, very thin. Effective but very thin. I've taken them on trips to ensure a good night's sleep in hotel rooms so they are portable and thin, taking up little to no space. The fabric feels durable and looks sleek, blending well with any decor since they the color black. These curtains have significantly improved my sleep quality when on the go. I just can't justify the price of it. Sorry...too pricey for me.

This blackout curtain is easy to install, comes with pre-applied hook and loop strips and can be cut to fit. It's thin enough to fold up and put away when not in use, but when it's up it blocks the sun and any other light intrusion. It's an inexpensive way to darken a room and also help with temperature control. I like that it can be cut to perfectly for the window so that I can still hang decorative curtains that match the decor of my room.

Horribly cheap quality material, doesn’t help with any sort of insulation or anything. But if you’re looking to just cover a window and reflect light back outside, this is a good item for that. If you want something not ugly that you can maybe put on a curtain rod, go for a different item.

These blackout curtains are made of a plasticky tarp-like material, black on one side and silver on the other, but they effectively block out light. The pre-attached Velcro makes installation easy, and they can be tailored to fit any window. There is an extra velcro that allows for custom sizing. However, I would have preferred magnetic attachments, as the Velcro adhesive may weaken over time with repeated use. Given the materials (1 panel of black plastic + Velcro), they feel a bit overpriced. They are ideal for temporary stays but not for permanent spaces.
