I was specifically looking for a low-cost all-season tire to install on a 2018 Subaru WRX. I came across these Summit Ultramax tires, which had decent reviews, so I ordered a set in 245/40R18 (stock WRX size) to mount on a set of Momo Catania wheels in 18.8.5. They mounted easily and sealed perfectly. I did have one tire that took a lot of work to balance out. This does not surprise me, as this is usually the case with "bargain" tires. Once balanced out though, so far, they ride very nicely, are responsive, and are mostly quiet. I say mostly because on concrete surfaces, they emit a high-pitched hum. Asphalt is fine, they are virtually silent. Earlier I said that so far they ride nice. This is something that will take some time as the tires wear, another common feature of "bargain" tires is that the ride tends to deteriorate as the tire wears. It will get rougher, louder, etc... I have not driven in the rain yet, so I cannot speak for their wet weather performance. ... show more

The 4 tires arrived quickly and just as described. I had all four mounted on the car. The ride is quiet and smooth. The tires look great. I like the deep well-placed grooves in the tires. I rode in moderate rain showers yesterday and today, and the car handled very well. Too early to tell on mileage as I have only had them on for a week. If these tires continue to please me as they have for the first week, I'll buy them again for my other cars and van for sure. Glad I looked long enough to find this brand and style. ... show more

Had these installed on my 2018 Impala Premier today. The tires are very quiet and handle perfectly around turns. Summit makes a great tire. I paid $85 to have these mounted and speed balanced. Make sure you use a reputable tire store to install. To summarize, I saved 600-700 dollars buying these from Amazon and having them installed myself. Amazon also offers install at your local tire store during purchase for cheap. You can’t lose. Also, these are directional tires. Make sure they are installed properly. ... show more
