I was skeptical about adjustment skates, but these are awesome. They tie, Velcro, and buckle and that gives me peace of mind when he is on the ice. I tie the lice then put the loops in the Velcro so they don’t come loose. Very easy to put on and tighten. These skates are amazing! Both of my daughters loved them! Highly recommend. Pluses 1. The adjusting is very easy and the boots seem very sturdy despite them being adjustable. 2. Super comfortable and easy on/off process at the skating rink 3. Relatively sharp out of the box 4. To the people who say it is hard to adjust, loosen the laces a bit and take out the strap to make the adjustment easier. I highly recommend these skates for beginners! It’s great skating shoes and I instantly loved them after I wear them, the only problem is there’s an issue with comfort, they are by inlarge more comfortable than the other shoes I had but their size seems more fitting of female legs that male legs. I honestly was surprised to check that I bought the biggest size is it barley big enough. I am a 10 US 41 EU and these feel like 9 US, 37 EU at their biggest. If you size is within that range then you’ll be great for you like me or bigger they will be a comfort issue. I wish they’d make the same design but for bigger feet. ... show more

Got these for my son, who needed size 11. So, I tried to adjust the size. One skate had a button stuck, the second one had a button that could be pressed, but after a 15-minute struggle, the toe moved a millimeter or two. I finally managed to move both toes to a desirable position, but there is no marked gradation, so not comfortable. But the skates themselves seem comfortable. ... show more

I purchased these skates for my 10 1/2 year old daughter with a shoe size of 3-4. She has very little patience for things and if anything is the least bit uncomfortable, she will not continue to put it on or even try. We have taken her ice skating before and their skates are so uncomfortable which made our outing not so fun. These skates slipped on easily and adjusted perfectly to her foot. I think there are 4 different lengths and her foot fit to the second notch. So, I am expecting at least a couple more years out of these wonderful skates. Another awesome feature are the closures. OMG, this made my life so much easier. Took maybe 3 minutes to get each skate on compared to 10 at the rink using their lace ups. Thank you for such a great product.!! ... show more

Very happy with style, adjustable fit and ankle support. We have used for three times with about two hours of scaling each time and they seem to be working well and holding up to the pulling, adjusting and yanking to get a nice good fit. They feel solid enough. I hope the plastic strap doesn’t break, but so far so good and we do put a lot of stress on it to keep the skate fitting snug. ... show more
