I haven’t washed it yet but my experience with this type of fabric is to dry on air fluff or low low heat so it doesn’t shrink. The size for my hourglass petite body shape was perfect. I originally got this in the red color. I loved it so much that I ended up getting it in blue and black too. What I really liked about it was that the sleeves were short, but still covered enough of my arms so I didn't feel like I was wearing a tank top. The fit is loose on top but doesn't have that overly long and sloppy look at the bottom. The fabric feels like a comfortable T-shirt material. It is not too heavy and not see through. Runs big! I ordered a size small, so I couldn't go down a size, but I will keep the shirt. It is super soft and very comfortable. Because it has a band at the bottom, it's easy to put the band up at the waist, and then "blouse" the extra material over that. The fabric is so soft and lightweight without being see through. I am thick around the middle and this style seems to hide enough to make me feel comfortable. The length is perfect, I am 5’2” and I have trouble getting tops that aren’t ridiculously long.
