First, I didn't realize that these had light up wheels, so I'm super excited about that. I got these for my daughter, who wears a size 4Y. The Medium fit her nicely, with some room to grow. She says they are comfy and has gone on some precursory runs around the neighborhood. She's excited to get more use out of them once the temps get to be warmer! I think they will still last her a good amount of time, at least a couple summers' worth of use. I am confident they will last at least that long, and will probably get handed down to my niece in good condition after being used by my daughter, who is not easy on her things. ... show more

These are really nice roller skates! These fit my 7 year old, and because the skates are adjustable, he should be able to wear them for quite some time! It's easy to adjust the skate sizing - there is a button on the side of each skate that you push and the you can slide/retract to get the fit you need. The skates themselves are built very solidly. The closures are sturdy and when tightened down provide good ankle support. The design of the skate is eye-catching, and the light-up wheels are all my son can talk to anyone about! Nice solid roller skates. My daughter loves to go to the local skating rink. These skates fit her perfectly and I love that they lace and also ratchet strap in at the ankle for a secure fit. both skates have a front brake. The wheels are very smooth and hard. She says that they are a great improvement from the skates we would rent at the skating rink. She says they fit better and are more comfortable. They also roll better, and she likes that there is a break on both skates. They come is nice little storage bags and I also like to put them up back in the box, so they do not get scuffed up. Ordered these for my 6 year old who wears size 1.5-2 in shoes and they are a nice fit. I like that they are adjustable, making the usable through a few shoe sizes. They seem like they are good quality, however we have only used them a few times. The wheels light up and roll adequality, so they have decent bearings. I did not have to make any adjustment to the nuts to make the wheels roll better, so that is nice for those who are not familiar with how to do that. The inner boot is soft and comfortable. They tighten and the top without and issues and are fairly easy to put on. The price is a little higher than the average kid skate out there right now. However I have noticed a increase in price overall on kids skates and they will last a few sizes so it is understandable. These skates are not a higher end skate, but they are great for my little one, who skates every so often and skates outside. If your child really enjoys skating and does it often, I would look for a more professional brand of skates that will perform better. But for the basic needs, these are great! ... show more
