The media could not be loaded. My 4 year old started out with a sucky pair from the thrift store. Told myself if she didn’t stick with it, I wouldn’t be out of a lot of money for something for her to try. Well, she stuck with it after 2-3 weeks. Found these pair that light up on Amazon. Let me tell you, she skates in these EVERY DAY. In the house, my in-laws house, and their concreted 40x30 shop. These are perfect size for beginners. And grows with them. It comes with a key to tighten or loosen the wheels according to one’s skate ability. They’re pretty safe and stable for young ones. You won’t be disappointed if you purchase these!!!! It was a bday present for my 4yr old. the material, the colors, the wheels, the lights are all very pretty. however, they are SUPER HEAVY. I did read a review that mentioned a screw in the inside of the heel. You can definitively feel the screw. my kid has not complained. I dont know if it is because she is super excited that this are her first pair of skates or if she really does not feel the screw at all. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I bought these skates in the pink and blue rainbow color and in the black and white for my two kids. I have t needed to adjust the sizes to grow yet. I bought them for their age ranges, and the first setting on them fits each kid perfectly, so I expect they’ll be able to grow with the skates. The wheels light up as advertised and roll smoothly in the indoor skate rink. They’re not too heavy or bulky that the kids can’t maneuver them. They airport me actually by skating pretty quickly on their own without the walker. They stay on well. My daughter did have an issue with blistering on the inner part of her foot. I’m thinking she may need thicker socks, not sure if the smart is too wide for her narrow feet. My son didn’t have this issue at all. I didn’t have any issues with any kind of odd smell, as some people may have mentioned in their reviews. They just smell like new skates. I’ll update sometime down the road on the size and fit as we wear them out a bit and the kids grow. So far, they are well worth the money, and we love skating together as a family. ... show more
