These worked great as replacements for the plastic supports I originally had. I really like that they’re made of metal instead of plastic, which feels much sturdier and more reliable. One of my old plastic brackets cracked and caused the closet rod to fall, taking all my clothes with it. These heavy-duty stainless steel supports feel much more secure and should hold up far better over time. Installation was simple, and everything needed to mount them was included in the package. Since so many reviews complained about the paint holding the adjusting screw in place I wanted to inform mine came out easily, yes the paint was touching but a simple twist with my screwdriver solved it. My main complaint was how tiny the screws were only 1/2" when my previous holders used 1" screws. Since I'm hanging heavy coats I used 1" to be sure. The brackets are exactly the size listed and have no wiggle room, it was tight to fit a wooden rod the same size. Will be buying more to replace my other closets, all the plastic ones have failed.

This was exactly the size in needed for my RV. However, they are unusable. Beware... the set screw will NOT come out!! It is put in crooked then they painted over the whole thing with the set screw in place!!. I ordered a "replacement" set and that was exactly the same. To get the set screw out, we had to drill it out!!

If this wasn't some game trying to get the right size closet rod bracket! Finally this one is suitable for a 1-1/3 closet rod, my rod is 34 mm and sits perfectly in this holder. I went through two other orders to find one that actually is as described. The U is also actually a U shape (another one I received was more V shaped) so the round bottom sits nicely in the holder. The screws provided are okay, I did use one longer one I had in each bracket at the far side for extra support. They are decent enough for a bare stud, but definitely need some longer ones if going through drywall. I believe the screws provided were more meant for a curtain rod as that would suffice. But with them planted in the stud ( I had to run a stringer because my closet has only rear suds) they are nice and secure (I actually did a pull-up with my 135lbs and there was no budge). They look really nice with my satin steel rod. Definitely recommend this one if you're looking for a closet rod bracket for a 34mm pole. It's a better value than what I could find locally available.
