Just received these shoes, so I may have to update review later. PROS: love appearance, color, they're lightweight, relatively easy to put on, love the lace cinch, feels great on my heels so far, very breathable if you tend to have hot feet, lots of toe room (ingrown toenails don't hurt as badly), CONS: not hands-free, stability on ankle might be iffy (could possibly roll your ankles) bc foot does seem to slide around a bit due to the sock material of the shoe, still have to tie the extra length of the lace if clinched tight enough, if you have trouble bending over due to back surgery these might be the wrong shoe for you ... show more

The material is stretchy. I like the color and that you do t have to lace the shoes. It’s just a stretchy string that tightens. The shoe itself is a lot narrower than I expected. I got these shoes to help with plantar fasciitis. So far they feel like every other shoe, they definitely don’t make my feet feel any better. I am a barber, I stand at least 6 hours straight each day. There are pros and cons to this shoe. I wouldn’t order them again. If you don’t have to stand all day long, I would say try them out. I really would love to write that I love these shoes - which for the most part I do. The fit, the comfort (with or without socks) ... I just CAN NOT get past the incessant SQUEAKING when I walk. The first pair I received, it was just the left shoe. So I asked for a replacement. They arrived yesterday. Wore them for about 20 minutes yesterday - no squeaking - yay! Put them on this morning, still no squeaking. Soon as I got out of the car, squeak squeak squeak. On the blacktop - squeak. On the tile - squeak. On the carpet - squeak. Took the socks off - still squeak. Tightened the laces - still squeak. Adjusted the padding - still squeak. If it wasn't so loud I might be able to live with it, but people down the hall in my office can hear me coming - sneakers are not supposed to squeak when you walk. This pair will be going back with the first pair tomorrow and I'll be requesting a refund. Back to the drawing board. ... show more

I have really bad (painful feet). One of which was completely rebuilt a few years ago. Most sneakers or soft shoes hurt my feet with very little support. These shoes feel like you are walking on cotton candy clouds. There is great cushioning that goes from behind the heel of the shoes and goes all the way to the tip of your toes. Not at all what I expected. They are stiff and have no padding inside. I had a hard time getting them on since they are slide ons and the foot hole is smaller. I can’t tell a difference in the toe being wider as mentioned in ad. It looks the same as my regular shoes. More than likely will not purchase more. I guess for the price, they weren’t bad but so far standing as hairstylist they aren’t all that great. ... show more
