My 5 month old grandson loves these. They are perfect size for little fingers to hold. The textured material on one side is so soft. Good material on both sides. The crinkle sound is great. He loves the sound as he chews on it. He is teething and he uses these more than any of his teething toys.

Such a simple toy and BELOVED by babies for the crinkle and the nice, bold patterns! Easy to take with you in a pocket or backpack. Washes well. I’d say this is a top 3 toy for any 0-3 month old, esp the black & white.

Our baby loves these! A bit pricey for their size and purpose, and I wish the crinkle were thicker to provide more sound feedback/satisfaction, or the squares were bigger. The way they came packaged reminded me of the small pocket size disposable Kleenex, so if for gift giving with a baby gift, you may find them appropriate to put on top of the gift wrapped package as a fun extra, rather than as the gift themselves, if that makes sense.
