The wide opening and stretchy design mean no wrestling tiny feet into stiff shoes, and the hook-and-loop closure keeps them snug without being too tight. The soles have just the right amount of grip for new walkers, and the breathable material keeps little toes comfy even on warm days. Truly the best first shoe. My baby LOVES her shoes and brings them to me for me to put on her. There is memory foam padding that can be taken out if they have a wide foot. I just used the stride rite website for sizing instructions to figure out if mine needed the insert or not. They are leather and they clean up really easily with soap and warm water, and seem to keep her feet dry with a decent amount of water exposure. Stitching is high quality and the Velcro is durable and withstands frequent use. I will be buying these in bigger sizes for the future. They look cute with dressy and casual outfits. They do not impede her ability to walk at all and give her the traction she needs to walk on all surfaces without falling. they're so easy to put on and take off and seem genuinely comfortable for them to wear. ... show more

I struggled to find shoes for my "chubby feet" daughter but this one checked all of the boxes for us. It fits perfectly and it seems really comfortable, doesn't squeeze her feet, it is lightweight: she is able to flex her toes, it is very easy to put on and take it off, yet it gives her great stability - very important in the early stages of walking. These little shoes are packed with quality and have been such a great buy for my almost-7-month-old. She just started using her walker, so I wanted something to support her ankles and help encourage proper form. While she can’t exactly tell me how they feel, I’ve noticed her standing straighter and actually moving her walker forward since she’s been wearing them—huge win! Her feet are pretty average in width, but I love that these shoes also work for wider feet by simply removing the insert. The Velcro strap makes it easy to adjust the fit just right, and they’re super easy to put on and take off (a big deal with wiggly little feet). They’re also a breeze to clean, and while they may not be the most stylish, honestly anything this tiny looks adorable anyway. Judging by how happy and confident she seems in them, I’d say they’re comfortable too. Highly recommend for any little one starting to stand or explore! ... show more

I find these size 4 toddler shoes sturdy, well made but they seem to run a tad big/wide. Very pretty, worth the money and I like the cushion with option to remove a layer. I found them to be a tad too long and wide (just had her feet measured recently). Will try the next size down.
