This is a well made portable light. It feels very solid. It has nice weight to it. I assume from the battery. The light bar actuation feels solid. Like it’s not going to slam shut. Brightness is variable by long pressing the power button. There’s a handy and sturdy hook at the bottom of the light. It is also equipped with a strong magnet. This was a Christmas gift for my husband. I use it more than he does. Sorry for my feral dogs running around the yard in the video. I was showing how bright the light is in a dark yard. I bought this on a Black Friday deal. Can’t remember what I paid for it maybe <$100. Well worth it! I wish it was usb-c charger. It is a micro usb. ... show more

I’ve used Streamlight for years—Stingers, handhelds, and work lights—and they’ve never let me down. On the job, reliability is everything, so I don’t take chances. That’s why I own two Stinger Switchblades—one lives on my workbench, the other is always ready to go. That says everything about how much I trust them. This Switchblade is basically indestructible. Someone would have to try to break it. Between the folding design, 800 lumens of bright white light, high-CRI for accurate color work, and UV mode for use with dyes when checking for leaks, it covers all the bases. This thing rules, especially since I got it on sale for $70! It’s much larger then the typical cob flashlights you see on here with the twist knob. But it’s also 100x more durable then any of those cheaper ones. The size does lend to me knocking it off with my head in tighter spaces. Though I am adept at hitting my head on things! It has no brightness adjustment, it has 3 modes and they dim as the battery goes down. It also has no indicator of battery status besides on the charger? I typically just keep er charged up! Either way it does an awesome job and you can expect at least few hours of consecutive use. Good flashlight I will have for a long time. My other streamlight stinger I found on the side of the road after having been run over several times and the thing works great 😆 ... show more

Holds great charge, throws 2 types of light and has a black light for AC dye leaks. Multiple light brightness settings and strong magnetic base if you don’t hang from it from the built in hook. Light selection is intuitive. Great light for the money.

I've used this one in the past I keep loosing it but I like the durability of it and not being bulky makes it nice. I use it 5 days a week as a mechanic. So it does get abused and still works. Love the black light good for detecting ac leaks. I also have a larger version that I ran over with a vehicle but still worked afterwards. I had to send it in for warranty a year after purchase because it quit charging. the only down side is battery life I have a charger from a previous one that came with and extra battery. Battery life is about 3 hours I just wish it was for at least 6 hours cuz it takes 4 hours to charge. ... show more

My stream light I purchased the other day has so far been an excellent item. I do mechanic work and that light is so bright in several different ways. It has a strong magnet on the bottom of it, that you could just about hang anywhere there is metal. Has a hook also on the bottom of it to just Incase of no metal to magnitize to. The light has lots of advantages. A LED light, magnetized base, also a hook on the bottom to hang by, vary durability light itself. Done dropped it a half dozen times to find out no damage to it.
