I needed strawberries for my husband's lunch and I ordered these the night before. They were on my doorstep when I got up. The quality was very good, the berries were ripe, but not over ripe. They were better than the ones I've been paying far more for at the local market. These were less than half the price! I could not believe these strawberries. I wasn't expecting much because it is December. These strawberries were fantastic. They were ALL red, ripe, without bruises, nasty smells or any other grossness. They smell like ripe berries. I would like to continue buying these but my concern is that when Amazon delivers any food item, they just sit it on the porch and leave. I would like them to at least knock on the door and then go. It wouldn't take them any longer and deliveries of delicate items wouldn't freeze before taking them inside. These strawberries are too good to waste and the price is beyond belief for berries of this quality. Kroger wishes they had these berries and you know, their price would be much higher. ADDITION: We ate these strawberries tonite and these were wonderful. What a treat to have fresh, ripe strawberries at this time of the year. This is the best bunch of strawberries I've bought in YEARS. They were all ripe, and sooo delicious! There are no pictures because they are all gone. There was only one strawberry that had to get thrown away, and usually it's about a quarter of what was bought, so I was super impressed there too.
