We live in a region that produces a large amount of fresh strawberries. I didn't check the label to see where these were packed; will have to do that next time. What I can report is that the ones that came from Amazon's source were sweet, juicy, and delicious. They were a Goldilocks kind of size - not too big / not too small - just right. I've been having them just cut in half and fresh on a plate or bowl. They would be fabulous for strawberry shortcake dessert. Mmm - the weekend is here; that should go on the menu! Stored in the refrigerator, and not prepped until just before ready to eat, they last a reasonable amount of time. Color, texture, and flavor are all really good. I don't really ever write reviews, but these strawberries (as of 7/15/2026) are $0.89 a pound. I ordered 4 pounds because why not? They were good, so I doubled down and bought 5 more pounds. All the strawberries were decent, and some were even really good—quite red and sweet. None were moldy or squishy. Some were a little sour, but to be honest, I like a little sour with the sweet, so even those were nice. I plan on freezing most of them for smoothies in the future, but $0.89 a pound is a crazy good price. What is this, the 90s? ... show more

    • Only .89 cents for each container of strawberries! What a deal!

I ordered these yesterday, they are always reasonably priced compare to grocery but they were on sale for .89 cents and they were part of a 20% off hat so .71 cents so I purchased 4 containers. I prefer the Driscolls brand, the brand is always 95% juicy red strawberries instead of the container looking like a the Amazon driver ate 5 or 6 out of the container or every piece has white over 50% of each strawberry or they start to rot within 2 days of receiving. But ALL 4 containers are all red and fresh and most of them are just huge, I usually sprinkle a little sugar over them after cutting them up but these don't need any, wish they could all arrive in this condition.
