This is a beautiful chair to look at. No lumbar support. Factually caused my back to hurt even after getting up out of it. I thought it was me at first, but over the course of three months. I realized it was the chair. Furthermore, I do not recommend anybody rocking a baby in it and reclining in it with the child you can’t get up. I would absolutely avoid this chair. It looks nice, we purchased it when it was on sale. It arrived completely broken, the box, the internal packaging, next to no protection. We finally got it put together and it was stiff, nearly impossible to close the foot part, no way to do that with a baby taking up your arms, and the actual mechanisms were broken. AND the chair itself feels like it’s filled with pool noodle material wrapped in some itchy fabric; not comfortable at all. Trying to get a refund was an absolute nightmare. I used this chair for my daughter’s nursery and I have spent many nights rocking her and sleeping in it! I put the chair together on my own while I was 37 weeks pregnant and it wasn’t a huge challenge, the directions are clear and concise. -As far as the size of the chair, I’m 5’4” and I fit comfortably with room on each side and it’s tall enough that I can lean my head back on it, my feet also don’t hang off when I recline it. My husband is 6ft and he fits in it as well, his head is a little taller than the chair and his feet hang off when reclined though. -The chair rocks and swivels with ease, there also no squeaking or creaking which is important for rocking babies to sleep! However, the reclining part is a little aggressive and flips up super fast. -We have not had any messes involved with the chair, so I can’t attest to how easy it is to clean but I imagine with some soap and water any stains would come out. -My only gripe is the lack of lumbar support, but that’s pretty much expected with a straight back chair, so I put a pillow behind me and that solves it. -Overall I’m really happy with the purchase and I think it’s totally worth the price, especially compared to other chairs on the market! ... show more

This is a nice chair. It is comfortable and I love the built in chargers. The fabric is soft and the cushion is comfortable. The rocker is gentle and, most importantly, quiet. There are two complaints about the chair. 1) I wish there wasn’t a lever to open the foot rest. When holding a sleeping baby it can be tricky to reach for a lever. When the footrest is released it’s also noisy and can be jarring unless you catch it with your legs and control the opening. Closing the footrest is challenging sometimes and can require some force. 2) when reclined, the back rest doesn’t hold a reclined position. Maybe it’s just me or this chair but I was really disappointed that I couldn’t actually recline. This function was one of the main reasons I chose this chair. Overall, 4 stars because it looks great, is comfortable, and mostly functional. ... show more
