This is so pretty! And baby loves it! It slides perfectly up to and slightly under the table for baby-led weaning. She is comfortable in it and it’s easy to clean. I see this as an investment piece that can grow with my child. Definitely over our typical budget range but knowing she is safe and this will last years makes it worth it!

Shipping was delayed which was fine, but they forgot the baby set. Had to email, file a claim, and wait another week for what I bought a month prior. Good thing I wasn't in a rush. Chair itself is great- I used Ikea Antilop with a footrest previously but the footrest was not stable as it moved further down the chair legs. Steps footrest is SO sturdy- my 9 month old stood on the footrest (hands on baby seat) to reach for food! I also sat in the chair before the baby set came and felt secure in it. It's easy to wipe & disassemble the seat to wash.

This high chair is expensive but worth the extra money. My son is so much happier in this chair. It's surprisingly hard to find a high chair that is ergonomically appropriate. This one is. It is also very steady, grows with your child, is easy to clean, and as a plus it looks nice. I only wish we had gotten it sooner. My order came quickly and was exactly as expected.

Firs of all, it’s a beautiful chair and we love the looks and design of it. It’s pricy for us, but we found it to be worth the cost. What’s really unfortunate is that it’s the second chair we bought, and it’s the second one that is defective. For whatever reason, the adjustable step uses cheap plastic screws. They are easy to use at first, but are not durable. First, the screws get stuck to the metal anchors inside the chair legs. When you try to unscrew them, they come out together with those metal anchors. Then eventually unscrewing starts taking effort, and that’s when the plastic handles break and detach from the screw, so it’s impossible to adjust the step. Mind you, we’ve been very gentle with the whole adjustment mechanism. The Amazon return was easy the first time, now we need to go through customer support. Will update the review once we’ve heard back from Stokke.

A few notes We went the ikea chair route but we could not get it to push up properly to our style of table Eventually, after spending $100 on accessories for the cheap $20 chair, we still ended up getting this one Now baby two is almost 6 mo and I plan to get this one from the start since the other one is still in use by our toddler. Toddler can easily get in and out herself and loves her chair and independence. Being in the cheaper chair was a battle and she ended up in our laps constantly, not with this chair. Other notes, this chair has very few crevices and is the easiest to clean of any chairs I’ve experienced. Love that it comes in black, get the black and you can avoid cleaning daily, we just let it get dirty and hardly notice and clean when it gets too icky Excited for round two!
