Pros - easy to work with and cut. They line up well with each other and are a good thickness. Cons - the tiles are sticky - it's weird no one really mentions that. The wall is so sticky I can put a piece of paper on it and it hangs there. I was putting up the big black shelf for dishes (which is 36" long and 2" thick so it's heavy) and it stuck to the tiles where I literally could step away and look at the wall to see if it was where I wanted it before I marked it and hung it. Very odd. I'm contemplating if I should spray the wall with a clearcoat spray paint. I don't know how they will be with dust collection.

Let me preface this by saying I never leave reviews like this for products (even the ones I love) and I also have, historically, never before been much of a DIYâer. However, I felt inspired to leave one for these vinyl tiles, and hope my feedback will be helpful. You should know that my experience with DIY projects is extremely limited. Iâm one of those people who wishes they were âcraftyâ SO much that Iâve wasted money and time on several half-baked DIY projects Iâve decided to take onâand have never completedâbc, as it turns out, I am *not* all that crafty, and either early-on or halfway through, Iâll realize this and give up. But only AFTER Iâve already bought the supplies and made a mess. Fast forward to 2021â I figured it was time I learned from my mistakes, so I researched a LOT when I decided I wanted to finally tackle remodeling our (formerly) dark, dank, cluttered and outdated kitchen. I read a lot of DIY & design blogs and lots of online + Amazon product reviews. I needed to do this on a TIGHT BUDGET and wanted to transform the âblack, spray painted cabinets, brownish color palette with earth-tones-colored ceramic mosaic tile backsplashâ-kitchen we inherited when we bought our first home 7 years ago, into the âwhite palette, modern farmhouseâ-kitchen I saw all over Pinterest. But WITHOUT breaking the bank. If youâve also decided that peel and stick vinyl decals are the option for your DIY project, and you have anywhere from âminimalâ to âI'm a pro, broâ-DIY experience, then THIS IS THE BRAND FOR YOU! I initially tried using a different brand/different tile option to cover our existing ceramic mosaic tile-backsplash, that was well-reviewed but not as well-reviewed as Stickgoo, and was a little less expensive, and found early-on that it just wasnât going to look nice or real enough to go to all the trouble of measuring it all out. Since I was trying to cover a mostly-smooth but also uneven and bumpy surface, adhesion and the quality of the texture was important, or it would just look cheap. I read more product reviews and gave these a shot, and Iâm so glad I did! Theyâre a great value for the money and are a superior option, as far as thickness and texture quality goes. There are a few areas that arenât perfect bc lining everything up can be tricky and takes time, and we also discovered (like others who left feedback like this that helped!) that our kitchen walls and granite countertops were *not* actually âlevelâ, so had we started off using a leveler to then pre-measure and cut the tiles to fit, they wouldâve been really âoff.â I used TSP to clean the tiles we were covering, and made sure they were dry before sticking anything to them. Youâll definitely need a utility knife (I found that an Exacto-Knife was not strong or sharp enough to slice the tiles evenly, and the âvinyl-slicerâ I bought off Amazon, broke early-on), a metal ruler, and I would recommend also using one of those metal square tools that also has a ruler on it, for measuring and lining tiles up to cut down. I ended up ordering too much bc I was worried about not having enough or messing some up (which did happen) and then running out, but I believe I ordered (4) packs and ended up using like 2.5. My husband did the majority of the adhering-part, but all-in-all, it turned out really well! Those who have seen it couldnât tell they werenât real tiles until I told them, and then only if they were up really close and could see the 2 or 3 areas that werenât perfect. I have had to push a few peeling tiles back down, but itâs not something Iâm concerned about yet, and theyâve always gone back to being stuck very easily. Iâm happy with it and am glad I found this product!!

I was a little worried at first because you can see the lines in between where the sheets meet up close but ended up not being that noticeable farther away. Sticks to the wall well, but came off when I needed to reposition one or twice. I recommend buying a few more sheets than you think you need in case you mess up like I did. Overall a great easy upgrade for my rental kitchen.

I wanted some backsplash for my new little butlers pantry, but not too expensive because itâs not part of my kitchen. There is enough space in between the tiles to cut and still maintain the grouted look. Easy to apply and reposition if needed. I have done a lot of ceramic tiling (floor and wall) but really messed up my own backsplash by using floor tiles, and removing them would require the drywall all be replaced. SOOOOOO I thought I had little to lose by trying these vinyl "tiles". NO, they do not look like real tiles, but are an improvement over what I had, and I did not have to adjust the electrical outlets to accommodate them. They have a clear protective film over the front that is not mentioned, and I did not know it had to be removed. They feel kind of "sticky" on the front after you remove the film. The grout color was described as "dark grey" but it is BLACK. It is very tricky to trim out the edges if it is not ending in a corner. I bought some trim designed for use with vinyl tile, but it is useless. Better to buy vinyl trim from home depot and use caulk to stick it on. Absolutley NO WAY would I use this in a bathroom. The home improvement stores have some stick-on tiles that look incredible, but are the same cost as properly done REAL thin-set and caulked tiles. Much better to do it the right way from the beginning, but this is all I could to to improve it right now.

We moved into a rental and hated the cabinets and backsplash. We decided to change the hardware out and add peel and stick tile. It sticks great and doesnât seem like itâll be too hard to pull off when we move. I loved how everything turned out, just take your time. Itâs perfect for us!!
