I own several Steve Madden boots, so I knew I needed to ordered half size bigger, spot on! A bit tight at the tip but that's what you can expect from pointed toes. The material is soft enough so walking or driving is not an issue, unlike the super stiff rhinestone boots from Betsey Johnson. I wear thin socks to help with sweating. They are so beautiful I can't take my eyes off them. My husband saw me trying them on in the house, he made reservation for our lunch date immediately.

Beautiful boot! However, the shaft of my leg are a bit thick so it would zip up for me. I wear a 7 but I probably need to go up one whole size in order for it to fit the shaft of my leg. Sucks because I really love the boot but going up a whole size will probably make it to big for my foot.

The base shoe part of these are a normal pump. I generally wear a 7 in heels and a 7.5 in flats. I ordered a 7.5 in these and they fit just a little snug (but seems to stretch a little as I wore them). They have to be worn like typical heels - definitely cannot wear a sock even though they seem like boots. That said, the boots even better in person than the pictures.
