These sandals run small so I needed to exchange for the next size. Overall I am pleased with this purchase. Shoes are comfortable and easy to walk in. They are easy to throw on and look good with pants, dresses, and even shorts so I will likely wear them often. There was virtually no break in period with the black pair- they were stretchy and comfortable on day one. Hopefully they will not stretch out too much. Unfortunately, they are not the Steve Madden Slinky from the 90s. They seem to have a looser fit and do make a flip-flop noise when you walk in them.

Very cute and easy to walk in all day. I find that the beige color is small and you may need to up half a size up. The black Steve Madden slinky platform are more true to size. They go with many outfits and give good height.

I wanted to like these shoes soooo bad! I wore them once and needed to walk a mile in the city from one destination to another. They are the right size - but would not stay on my foot! I had to shove my foot as far forward as possible with my toes dangling over the front to keep them on my feet. It was so awkward and I had to walk so slow. I had my daughter try them who is the same shoe size and she had the same experience. The top elastic part of the shoe feels snug and my foot fits on the platform well. It made no sense that they were so hard to walk in. Also, they are LOUD. They are much louder than flip-flops and more challenging to control. I'm envious of people who wrote 5-star reviews. I wish I would have had the same experience.

I want to recommend this Raffia style, and note that while it's difficult to tell, the hemp/wicker material IS INDEED stretchy and is not rough at all. Very comfortable, soft, and flexible like the fabric styles. The great thing about this material is that it lends itself to a natural look, versus the more modern/chic look that the fabric style gives. I love both, but have found this shoe matching nearly everything. I typically wear a 10, and ordered a 10, and I have no problem. I do have very wide feet, and they are SUPER comfortable and flattered in this shoe. I would say it's true to size! I love how much height these platforms give me while having a sleek profile, it's not obvious I'm in a huge heel, but it gives me large and in charge amazon height! They are incredibly easy and comfortable to walk in unlike most shoes that give you height, so they're unlike any "heel" I've ever had. They are also sexier and more well made than any shoe in my wardrobe, I feel like I got MORE than my money's worth. I'm basically in love, and think this is a new forever style essential for me.
