This boot is a nice looking boot and will do great with anyone with really thin ankles! I am not a big person, but once the boot was zipped, the ankle was very tired and would not have been comfortable to wear long-term. I am so happy with these boots. I Was even stopped in the street (in a very hip neighborhood in NYC) to ask where I got them. They are comfortable but the soles are not flexible so consider that if you are walking long distances.

Wanted to love them but they ran about a 1/2 size too long. I ordered a size 6 and reordered a 5.5 however on this pair I could not zip them up over my arch. The Length was fine.
